I write Diarmuid as trans for two main reasons but the differences in those reasons is kinda hilarious. First reason is that I like examining how a fae would perceive sex and gender differently from humans (Diarmuid himself wouldn't consider himself trans and only really uses the label bc it's easier to explain to humans) and then the second reason is that I want him to intentionally flash his tits at Cu to watch him lose his cool and get all flustered over it (mythos accurate Cu moments)

Diarmuid gave Cu the two big white dogs. Not only did he give them to Cu as pups he also did all the basic training himself and then got so nervous about the gift he couldn't even meet Cu's eyes as he explained this and stumbled over the whole thing only to get cut off with the most back breaking hug he's ever received, fully lifted off his own feet by it and swung around before Cu skipped off to play with his new puppies, leaving Diarmuid standing there in a daze as his poor pathetic crush on the guy kicks into overdrive
