Ink Notes: The picture shows the sheen really well, but not the color underneath, which is a dark red-purple (more purple than red, though). It did take a bit of time to dry, like most sheening inks do, which is why the "the" of the second to last line is smudged.

Brrr! β Pigment Shimmer
"Brrr!" she said entering my purchases in the till. "It's so cold!" I shrugged. "Oh, I don't mind. I like the cold and rain." "Then this is the best place for you, then!" I smiled. "Yes, yes it is."
Ink Note: This ink is interesting. It's labeled as a pigment shimmer ink, but the shimmer is really fine (finer than it looks in the picture), but the ink itself looks more like a normal ink than most of the pigment inks I've come across. Not sure if that was intentional on Diamine's part, but it's a pretty ink none-the-less.
Daimine Inkvent Calendar -- Day 1
A nice blue with a nice copper/rose gold sheen. [Itβs actually a glitter.] Blues arenβt really my thing most of the time, but for the Inkvent calendar, this is a nice start.
Day 24 of Inkvent. Today's ink: Sugar Snap. Shimmer formula. A yellow, olive green ink with green silver shimmer. A nice natural color. Only one more day to the big finale! What has been your favorite ink so far? Mine have been Cashmere Rose, Jacaranda, Bah Humbug, and Weeping Willow.

Day 23 of Inkvent. Today's ink: Fireside Snug. Standard formula. A red orange ink. I feel like they captured the color of fire so accurately with this one. It's a perfect blend of orange and red. Also super happy to get another standard ink formula!

Day 22 of Inkvent. Today's ink: Tinsel. Shimmer formula. A warm red ink with red shimmer. A very true holiday Santa red. I usually like darker reds but this is a solid middle red color. Sometimes reds are too light and feel washed out, like a coral or pink, so I'm glad this one is just right.

Day 21 of Inkvent. Today's ink: Tranquility. Chameleon formula. A purple ink with pink, gold, green shimmer. Sometimes it's hard to really tell what color the shimmer is because it shifts. This purple really makes me think of Barney the dinosaur. Anyone else?

Day 20 of Inkvent. Today's ink: Astral. Chameleon formula. A black ink with green gold shimmer. I don't own any black inks, so this is a nice addition to my collection. Nearly every normal pen comes with black ink so I just never thought to bother with getting one for a fountain pen. The shimmer makes it something special!
