Day 22: A Cosplay You Still Need Good Photos Of⁠ ⁠ I have a few that fall into this category, but the one I most WANT good photos of and don't have is our Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency group! Day 25: Favorite Accessories With A Cosplay⁠ ⁠ Honestly, all of the props and accessories for our Dirk Gently group are just delightful! The scissors swords, the horseshoe slingshots, the spell book, the crown, the light-up wand... I really enjoyed the challenge of making all of the pieces as screen-accurate as possible, and am SUPER proud of how well they came out! Day 9: Something You've Made With New Equipment⁠ ⁠ I've made a ton of stuff using my laser cutter, but right now I'm mostly using that for cosplay commissions and commercial production (pop over to @antaresversatilearts to see that stuff!), so I don't have any *finished* photos of things I've made for my own costumes with it. So instead I'll go with the computerized embroidery machine, which I used to make this screen-accurate embroidered Western shirt for Mark's Panto Trost costume. #fallforcostume Day 2: Patterns "Patterns" could mean either a sewing pattern or a fabric texture, but I'm assuming these prompts are open to interpretation. I use commercial patterns in sewing, but I also do a lot of cannibalizing and modification, so they rarely resemble the original design. This is an in-progress shot of patterning the bodice for #queensuzie from #dirkgentlysholisticdetectiveagency, using scrap fabric, newspaper and tape to create the shape.
