The term "pedophile" doesn't come from me though, but from Sammon herself at the Dff final episode thing. Maybe she simply didn't make the distinction? Or maybe she used the term knowing very few people know the difference between pedophiles, hebephiles and ephebophiles. People might get confused without an explanation and the point would be completely lost.

I guess they just ignore the not so subtle hints that reality isn't reality and that we (and Jin and Phee) don’t know what ever was realy and what isn't.

It's their right to follow that one theory and take everything we've seen at face value.

And I didn't know. I suspected that there might be some twist at the end and after ep 11, I couldn't see a way out anymore plot wise if there wasn't some major twist, whatever that would look like.

So it was more that I know Sammon is a great writer and I saw that after 11 there was no way to end this story without a major twist by questioning reality and what we had seen in same way. I wasn't sure how. And honestly we still don't know.

I've seen a tweet by Ta yesterday and he doesn't seem to know either, because he also brings up the options we've already mentioned: All is a drug induced haze and none on it ever happened, it's all a movie in a movie, etc, etc.

Before the finale tomorrow, I'm going to lay out some things I think are going to happen. Time to put on the clown makeup!

First of all: I think Perth's character is gonna do something important. Don't ask me how or what. But the way they film and dress him and everything just makes it seem like he's Important despite still not having an actual name. Probably he is an undercover cop/investigator/Plucky Girl Reporter investigating the Mafia and just doing a better fucking job of it than Mr Keng was. It would be weird for that thread to just get dropped and Uncle Joe was caught at some point. If Perth just ends up being some mafia sex worker who was just there to sass Tee in the flashback I will be...not disappointed exactly but confused.

Next: I think we can all agree that it was actually Fluke that leaked the sex tape, right? Like, Jin believes that he's the one who did it but he was so drunk he probably doesn't remember right and Fluke was the only other person who knows about the video at all. So I feel pretty confident in this one. Also, he's either gonna die or his med school hopes get so thoroughly dashed he's gonna wish he was dead. I'm leaning towards death but the latter is funnier to me personally.

I'm still holding out for the Janta Cult to play a significant part in the story. I am a Janta Cult truther. This is the one i am most Clownish about because i know it's not going to happen but I BELIEVE.

I think White is going to live but Tee will possibly die trying to save him. Phi and Jin are going to make it out alive. The survivors are all permanently changed. I don't think the TeeWhite side ever speaks to PhiJin side ever again.

I am 75% sure that Non is dead but 25% sure he's been in hiding from the mafia til Uncle Joe's death. Either way, there is going to be a final confrontation between TanNew and Non with either IRL Non or New hallucinating him. They're reunited but it's not happy. It's going to be some Gothic Horror level shit.

Por's mom and dad will have to give a press conference/answer media questions about What The Fuck Happened At Their Summer House and are disgraced.

What's your take on it?

My take on it is that I am staying the heck out of that discussion for one reason: We know NOTHING.

That's my take on this show right now. We have no idea what's real and what isn't. What are hallucinations and what are not. And what the boys are lying about still in their POV tales that we get to see.

The narrator(s) aren't reliable and I wouldn't be surprised at all of it turned out to be a "film in film in film" kind of thing or Non is hiding with the police and the mafia man is a police man at the same time... you know that kind of thing.

It could also be a thing for him actually coming back as a revenge ghost who possessed Tan and makes him poison the others.

Everything is possible.

So, since the last episode (10) but especially since yesterday's episode (11), I am wondering/worrying about something, that might be totally for naught and solved within ep 12.

But here's my point:

From the first episode on there were so many strings and false info and ideas about what was even real. There were also A LOT of players.

I think, I did pretty well with deciphering the "real story" so far. Now however, I don't know anymore, because I don't want to know.

If we take what has been shown in these last 2 episodes as truth, then what is the point of this whole show?

The story would be as follows: Poor kid with mental health issues and a loveless home gets bullied, then pushed into a world of crime and finally dies there with no way out. His oder brother, who was an ass to him as well, wants revenge for HIMSELF because his parents killed themselves because of what happened (well his father because of what Tan himself did). While he wants to find out what happened to his brother, ultimately he says himself he doesn't care about what his brother would want. So he drugs the boys with the help of his brother's ex and then kills one totally innocent person and one who was merely a bully but by far not the one the most responsible. And then what? Will Tan really kill all of the boys? From what we saw Fluke didn't do anything (literally) and White is an innocent bystander. So we'd have two innocent people killed. Teacher Keng had this weird arch with the police that leads nowhere and he's dead as well. We still don't know where the photo with the teacher came from. If you count Non's parents we'd have 4 innocents dead, Tan totally mad, Non still gone and no "revenge" for others who actually really hurt him- like the mobster guys for example.

That's option one and I don't like it because it leaves too many things unanswered and hanging with too many unnecessary characters and strings.

The other option is that the truth is far from what we saw so far. There would be a bigger plan, a very elaborate one where revenge or justice (one of the, at least) is served.

If that's not the case the whole show is about a crazy ego-centrical teen who kills random people associated with his dead younger brother, betrayed his parents and killed at least one innocent person. The police was pushed out years ago, the mob continues as usual even though the former boss is dead, the predator teacher might or might not be alive, Phee's father's trust was broken because Phee went on this mad revenge trip without telling him, White dies as an innocent person, etc etc. So what's the "end" or "the goal" of the story? I can't really say right now.

as a major ´white is working with tan! he’s not who we pretends he is!’ truther, let me tell you i was surprised to see nothing hinting at that in ep11, despite getting teewhite’s whole backstory.

wether or not he’s acting (which seems less and less likely) there’s one thing we still don’t know about him; why he saw a rash when hallucinating.

he was under the influence of new's drug, which means he's seeing his worst fear.

many people theorized on what the origin of this could be, but i can see it having something to do with tee.

he saw this rash on his neck/ shoulder the morning after getting freaky with tee, in the exact same place that tee likes to target.

but after inhaling more of new's drug at the end of ep11, he's hallucinating it again, this time on his face (cheeks) and neck.

tee saying 'you're filthy' and seemingly wanting white to stop touching him, as if he's digusted, could be because white has some kind of internalized homophobia. maybe deep down he's ashamed of liking boys and is afraid the people around him will see him as disgusting.

which could lead to learning more about his home life. somehow i can imagine him being an only child, his parent's pride and joy, who will become a successful engineer just like them. maybe they're really homophobic and he's afraid of disappoiting them by going against their beliefs.

alternative theory

what makes me doubt this first theory is that white never showed any insecurity in his identity or his relationship with tee.

he made the first move, got closer to tee and was basically glued to him every day at the gaming place, and showed no problem doing PDA in front of tee's whole friendgroup (aka being on tee's lap at all times).

so maybe that has something with sex.

who knows, maybe white isn't that little perfect kid (who looks like a mama's boy/ teacher pet, sorry to say it) and actually acted out in the past -which would explain why he got closer to tee in the first place, the guy who screams red flag and danger-

who knows, maybe he slept around a lot at a young age to make his parents mad or something. maybe he got into weird schemes he couldn't get out of and had to sell his body.

which means the rash he's afraid of would be caused by an STD. look it up if you want to, but it seems there's a huge number of STDS that can cause rashes.

So, this time we're getting Tee's story. And honestly, only Tee's story for most of the episode.

How he fell for his uncles lies, how he tried to safe Non and just like him was deceived by the uncle, adults etc. How he made wrong choices.

How Non ended up dead.

How White approached him and flirted with him to get him to smile.

How White smoked weed even though he looked like such a good kid. How White was able to do Tee's homework and tutor him even though he's much younger.

White showing him what happiness is. So White is his Phee in a way, if we see Tee similar to Non.

Now when Tee finishes his tale, isn't it a bit weird that White is the one who doubts him and asks if he really wasn't the one to kill Non? And wasn't it a bit suspect how White came after Tee? And we should always remember that just like with Phee before, this is Tee's version of events. What is true and what isn't: We don't know yet. Because Tee looks pretty good in this version, doesn't he? All worried for Non, arguing with his uncle, working several jobs, giving Non the money to be free etc.

In the present, Phee finally makes the ingenious decision to take the gun from Fluke when he hallucinates.

Tan loses his shit as well as he asks Phee to shoot them. As Phee has promised to seek revenge as they looked at the Kimhan-remembrance murder-board. If only they had Kimhan like revenge abilities.

Jin then reminds Phee that he never wanted to kill anyone and only find out the truth. I guess it's a bit late for that now, huh?

What I found interesting is when Phee asks New if he really thinks this (the drugging and killing) is really what Non would want.

It's a legit question and from the talk between Tee and Non, we can tell that Non would not want this. Non forgave, again and again as long as he was still in his right mind. He wanted to just change schools to avoid conflict. - However we don't know if that talk ever really happened because we saw this from Tee's point of view.

Either way, New/Tan makes it clear that he doesn't care about what Non would want. he cares about revenge, so ultimately about himself. Because it's not about avenging Non. It's about avenging himself and what he lost. New/Tan is a selfish twat just like the rest of them.

And he uses his own theatrics to light up a lazed cigarette. And Phee the idiot lets him do it and blow the smoke right in his face, even though he knows about the drugs in there. Does he think Tan become more reasonable drugged? or does he want everyone drugged after all?

So, questions:

What about what we saw from Phee (last time) and Tee (this time) is real? Is this really what happened?

Do we trust White to be just an innocent guy who happened to hit on Tee and be super smart? If I had to bet on anyone being an undercover cop, I'd pick White. He might look super young but maybe he's not?

Is Non really dead? The way he kept coughing makes it seem like maybe he had some lung damage and/or internal bleeding. He could have died of that. Or not.
