so, throw a question at me, whatever you wanna know. i drank enough earlier before i got here to not care what i spill… and i may or may not have finished off my flask when i asked to go to the bathroom during dinner. the vodka’s starting to kick in and so is my lack of caring what i say

i smile wickedly, vodka always made me braver… maybe thats why i brought a bit more than what i had in my flask only. what? so i brought a shot bottle or two also. its not a problem, it just helps me forget about my stepdad and mom, not like its hurting me

you care if i light a cancer stick in here or would that be frowned upon?

I found myself nervous again. He smelled of alcohol, and while he smelled of the cheap kind, he reminded me no less of my father for a split second. But my dad was an angry drinker, not a chill and relaxed one. And Dez was different.

"Well, um...I'll start with the basics, then. Would you tell me about your folks? I know bout Char, but I'm only getting snippets of lore bout the rest of em."
