His expression betrayed no outright anger, only the subtle undercurrent of exasperated amusement that he so often reserved for the ignorant. His golden eyes, perpetually sharp beneath dark lashes, narrowed slightly as he cast a glance over. A muscle in his jaw tightened, just enough to suggest restraint, though the faint smirk curling the corner of his mouth revealed he was, at best, unimpressed. Law's hands rested loosely at his sides, the intricate tattoos across his fingers on full display. Each letter— 𝐃 𝐄 𝐀 𝐓 𝐇 —etched in bold black ink, caught the light as he flexed his knuckles.

He raised one inked hand deliberately, index and ring fingers curling down to leave the middle one standing tall, a pointed and unapologetically rude gesture. His smirk deepened as he locked eyes with the man, unflinching.

To no one's surprise, both Grimmjow and Cú looked completely out of place with the rather serene atmosphere of the room they were sharing, and it was something that was starting to tickle him.... Lazily, he finally decided to open an eyelid to address once and for all the tall brooding figure looming close to him, noticing first and foremost, an obnoxious sky-blue colored tuft of hair that happened to so conveniently be blocking the 'precious' sight of his monochrome and boring ceiling.
