Comfortable bed sheets laid under the genie’s body, soft on everty single inch of his skin. Warm and candent after the constant use of them the night before. Next to him, the familiar heat of a body that belongs not to him. Unwanting to wake up. Unsure of cuddle up. He looks turnign his face, and body, until he’s facing the other albeit eyes closed, and returns to normal right after as if filed with doubt.

Hufflepuffs were much more easier to negotiate with from his experience, unless they were like Ernie and more stubborn than a freaking Gryffindor. He knew that he was the same way though, so he couldn’t exactly want Noah to stop something that he couldn’t even sometimes. “You know what would help make it a little less subjective? You actually telling me what you want and me letting you know if it’s within reason or not.” Marcus was a little bit impatient and prone to snapping, but he knew how crucial it was having someone that worked in the library on his side right about now. A small smirk spread across his face when Noah commented on the phrase about his body, tongue swiping out to lick his lips quickly. At least others knew that he could probably use his body for good things, that he was skilled. “And I was just thinking about what my hands and mouth could do alone. Imagine if I start listing off what my whole body is capable of.” He shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly, letting go of the Ravenclaw’s tie by rest his hand on his chest. “I don’t want to say it’s like incredibly restricted that only the professors know about it or anything.” Marcus’ voice lowered as he leaned in closer to Noah, hoping that the closeness would work out in his favor. “But let’s just say it’s a very old book with a couple of spells and secret in it. We could both benefit from it actually and I wouldn’t be opposed to sharing it with you.” He wasn’t naive. He wasn’t going to give the title or even a description out to anyone that he didn’t think that would help him. “You’ll get the bigger end if anything. The book sometime and whatever I’m going to give you.”

“Ah, but where’s the fun in that?” He replied to Marcus’ (clearly annoyed) question. He almost said it without thinking - Noah was as prone to some sarcastic and witty reply just as the other seemed to be prone to a quick snap back. It really did make for great conversation, though the hand against him certainly wasn’t hurting either. “Mm,” Noah said. He’d meant it to come out as an in-thought kind of noise, but with Marcus’ teasing words, it was a bit higher and breathier than he’d like to admit.

He was going to say something (some smart tease back, thank you very much), but Marcus was already moving on, clearly playing the game and talking once more about the book. Noah ran through a list of books in his head, trying to figure out what the other was talking about but to no avail. The ravenclaw laughed lightly at the next comment, licking his own lips. “You do have a way of making a guy curious,” he admitted, eyes sparkling.
