being twenty-one is like. okay. all my friends are growing up around me and moving on without me. i have grown but i am still in the same place i was at seventeen. i think my life is over but it has barely begun. no one checks up on me. i don't check up on anyone. i can feel time move but i'm never brave enough to move with it. i'm a kid. i'm an adult. i feel everything at once and nothing at all.
