THIS IS A SUPER DUPER LATE GIFT TO @deslabe oh my god Iâm so sorry itâs so late. This was supposed to be for @sansansecretsantaÂ
Do you know her? The girl with fire red hair and ice blue eyes? Her smile is sweeter than honey but has a shoulder colder than your own heart.Â
Do you know her? The girl that will consume your thoughts? Your waking minutes? Your dreams?Â
Do you know her⌠the girl who will cost you everything?
Tyrion sat with Sandor at the bar, having bought a bottle of whiskey earlier in the evening. The bottle was nearly empty, with the last of it being poured into Sandorâs glass.Â
He was buzzed, but Tyrion was wasted.Â
âSansa~!â Tyrion called for the pretty server who grabbed them the bottle in the first place, her little redhead peaked up from behind some patrons farther into the bar and she wove her way around fellow drunk patrons.Â
She was nearly to them when one of the men had grabbed her ass, and before Sandor could blink Sansa had pulled her arm back and swung the metal tray she was carrying into the manâs face.Â
It sounded like it hurt, and with a vague impression of the manâs face in the tray Sandor would have to think that it did.Â
Sansa turned around, flipping her braided red hair back over her shoulder as she tucked the tray back under her arm.
âYes?â She didnât hide the irritation in her voice as she approached the two men.Â
âSansa,â Tyrion was falling out of the stool he sit on. âPleeeasssee. Please get my, uhm-â Tyrion paused as he looked at Sandor. âFriend, another bottle of whiskey.âÂ
âCoworker.â Sandor rasped out like that was helpful information. Sansa looked Tyrion up and down before her blue eyes slid across to Sandor himself.Â
âI can take that bottle to go. Honestly Iâm not sure why Iâm here.â
Sansa placed her hands over Tyrionâs ears before she turned back to Sandor.Â
âItâs because he thinks youâve got connections to women.â Her tone was tired and no nonsense.Â
Sandor raised his eyebrow at her.Â
âHe does?âÂ
Sansa looked Sandor over again and then raised her eyebrow.Â
âDonât you?âÂ
Sandor felt a lump form in his throat.Â
âIâm not a child and donât treat me as such.â Tyrion grabbed Sansaâs hands from his head, holding them gently. âCome home with me tonight, Sansa.âÂ
She shook her head, lifting her hands from his. But she cracked a secretive smile to Sandor.Â
âI wonât go home with you, butâŚâ She trailed off, coming up and placing a chaste kiss to Sandorâs cheek. âYou, maybe.âÂ
Sansa gave a wink to them before slipping off into the crowd once more, disappearing from sight.Â
Sandor breathed once she was out of sight, not even realizing he was holding his breath.Â
âDo you know her?â Tyrion asked, waving for the bartender that was farther down the bar that may serve them.Â
âNo, not in the slightest.â Sandor murmured, having to stop himself from trying to find Sansa in the crowd.Â
âWell, my friend, I think she wants to know you.âÂ
Sandor didnât see Sansa the rest of that night, and he tried to convince himself that he didnât really have a reason to go to the bar by himself in the following days.
But loneliness is very persuasive, especially in a new city where your only contact is the drunk dwarf from work.Â
Rain pattered on the glass, and as Sandor suspected it was slow for a Tuesday night-- but he didnât know whether or not Sansa would be in tonight.
A part of him of course wanted to see her, that was the whole reason he was here in the first place⌠but a part of him didnât want to see her, because she haunted him now.Â
He didnât know why she did. There wasnât anything in particular that stood out to him about her.Â
Her fiery personality that matched her hair, maybe.... Maybe that was it.Â
He couldnât say whether or not he would take a tray to the face by that woman--
âGood to see you again.â Her voice spoke up from in front of him. Sandor lifted his head to see her standing behind the bar, leaning heavily on her arms. She had a white dish towel on her shoulder and what looked like some spills on her shirt.Â
âGood to see you too.â He spoke low, his voice graveled like he hadnât used it all day. She tilted her head more to one side and blinked at him. âSansa.âÂ
She smiled easily, and he took it in like he was lost in a desert and she was the sea.Â
âI unfortunately donât know your name.â Sandor swallowed thickly after she said that.Â
He didnât know if he wanted to tell her his name, it felt like a sin to have her say his dirty name.Â
âTyrion only called you coworker, but I donât think thatâs your name.âÂ
âItâs not,â he felt pitiful with how little he was talking. âItâs Sandor... Sandor Clegane.â
âSansa Stark.â She brought her hand in front of them, and he looked at it in surprise.Â
He took her hand gently in his, afraid that he would break her small hands in his much larger ones. Â
âYou like brandy, right?â She turned from him, red hair whipping around in the high ponytail she was wearing that night.Â
âYeah.â He didnât trust himself to speak louder, or even say more.Â
âWhen did you come to town?â Sansa asked as she placed the small glass in front of him, sans rocks.Â
He was impressed she remembered the one drink he ordered for himself a few nights ago.Â
âA few weeks ago.â He took it and resisted shooting it back, he wanted to savor this one now.Â
Sansa raised her eyebrow and drummed her nails on the bar top.Â
âI got promoted from out of state to work at the location here running the ground crews.â He sat the glass on the top and pushed it towards her. âAnother.âÂ
âAnother?â Sansa smirked at him. Sandor nodded.Â
âAye, another.âÂ
Sansa continued to raise her eyebrow at him, a smug look on her face as she did not move to grab the bottle.Â
âAh,â Sandor sighed, giving a chuckle. âPlease?âÂ
âThere we go,â Sansa grabbed his glass and turned to grab the bottle. She placed the bottle between the two of them and even grabbed another glass for herself.Â
âSo⌠Lannisters?â Sansa said as she pushed Sandorâs glass back to him. Sandor hesitated.Â
âThereâs that much of stigma?âÂ
Sansa shrugged as she took a large swig from her own glass. She blinked a few times as it burned her throat but she sighed deeply afterwards.Â
âNot a stigma, but thereâs some⌠opinions.â She wiped her hands on the towel on her shoulder before moving it to the other side.Â
âSeems like you know everyone in town.â Sandor did knock this next one back, setting it firmly on the bar top.Â
âI work at the only bar in town in a 50 mile radius. I would be surprised if I didnât know anyone.â She placed a hand on her hip as she filled his glass again.Â
âWhatâs the story with the Lannisters?âÂ
Sansa bit her bottom lip lightly, an action Sandor couldnât help but notice.Â
âI used to date one the Lannister spawns, was briefly engaged, got into a knock down fist fight and more or less I have house arrest for the next few years.âÂ
Sandor blinked, eyeing the scar on her cheek.Â
âIs that whereâŚâ he gestured to her cheek. Sansa nodded. âJesus. What was it about?âÂ
âHe threatened my family and bragged about sleeping with other women, and around here we donât like someone threatening our family.âÂ
Sandor really, really wanted to know her.Â
She didnât go home with him that night, but he did get her number.Â
What type of woman was she? Did she like flowers? Holding hands?Â
A night drive to look at the stars?Â
âShe soundsâŚâ he didnât know what to say. Awful came to mind first.
âYou can be as mean as you want. No one cares about her, here.â Sansa crossed her arms and nodded her head once.Â
Sandor didnât know what it was about Sansa that made him think about her constantly. It could be her no nonsense attitude she carried about herself.Â
He wondered if she was the type of woman who liked to be treated gently.Â
What were her favorite flowers? Did she like chocolate or sweet things?Â
He thought about how she kissed his cheek so gently, so she probably did enjoy soft touches.Â
âShow me around.âÂ
Sansa stopped cleaning the bar top to look at him, blue eyes concentrated on grey.Â
âWhat do you want to see?âÂ
Everything. Sandor shrugged.Â
âIâm not familiar with the area, and if anyone is going to show me some back roads I would rather it be you.âÂ
She leaned on the bar top, a small smirk playing on her lips.Â
âMe, huh? Not your best friend Tyrion?âÂ
Sandor huffed, but leaned over the bar top as well.Â
âYeah, you give better directions I feel like. Actually know your way around.âÂ
Sandorâs eyes trailed down her bare arms and then snapped back up to her ice blue eyes.Â
âPlus, no offense to the dwarf⌠but youâre much prettier than he is.âÂ
Sansa scrunched her nose but she smiled anyways.Â
âYeah ok, Clegane. Iâll go with you. But Iâm expecting some flowers now, maybe some chocolates too.âÂ
Sandor raised his eyebrow. âChocolates, Stark?âÂ

MY SECRET SANTA @deslabe came the HECK through. Wow. I'm still in shock.
Literally every single piece in the gift is so perfect and I LOVE the painting especially! It's incredible!! I also collect mugs, so I literally squealed with joy when I saw the Keep Calm mug â¤ď¸â¤ď¸đĽ°
Wowwwwww, I can't wait to put all of these things to good use. The painting is definitely going up in my study/desk area and it even matches because my room has a blue-green kinda theme going on.
