Went to the Desigual insta page and they turned that shirt into a pro trans campaign 🙄 they redesigned it so that the 'not' was faded out so the 'a doll' in black lettering sticks out

And they made several posts with this, including an interview with a TIM who said all the "not a doll" tshirts should be burned. Men want to be dolls (inanimate sexualized playthings emblematic of patriarchal beauty standards) so women aren't allowed to not want to be dolls. Because if we're not dolls, then trans identified men they have nothing to dress up as. So, not only are we caged into being dolls to appease heterosexual men, we're also caged into being dolls by the men who have a fetish for pretending to be us. I know the campaign was just a corporation bullshitting and grasping at anything it think would sell anyway but this genuinely so disappointing. Really emblematic of the death of ideas that empower women.
