2009-2018. Started from the bottom, now we're here. I was so impressed when I first met this baby. He was the sweetest thing - hugged me like he'd known me all his life. He wasn't standoffish like a lot of little kids tend to be. Now, after being in his life for so long, him becoming my bonus baby and me becoming his Dema, I can hardly remember life without him. Today, #theboy turns 14! He truly is the apple of my eye. There is nothing anyone can say about him or do to him without me being all in the mix...know it! He has taught me how to love unconditionally. He has taught me how to grow past situations and not take shit so personal. I love this child, deeply, and I am so blessed to have him in my life. I was on a little hiatus, trying to cheer #theboy and the #Braves through a little postseason action. Unfortunately neither of my little teams advanced; however, no one expected the Braves or the Sutton Cougars @sutton_football to make it as far as they did, so congrats to both teams for winning seasons! Now, back to...2010. Before Walt, the Falcons were the only Atlanta team that I'd seen play live. He accompanied me to my first Braves game in 2010 - the Thrashers (hockey) and Hawks soon followed. The Braves stuck though. It was something about being there with him that made me fall in love with the team.
