Is this reminiscent of #TheHillsHaveEyes. Believe me or not; these types of markers are left in many places around the #DesertSouthwest🌵 and are quite common in #UFOCountry🛸 and I’m activating carving out new hashtags like #AlienReality👽! . #GetOut was the warning on the wall and behind me in this same #desertedhouse was a tunnel burrowed out in the middle of the room like it went somewhere. So in a window similar to this that was broken; with a curtain hanging out and being whipped by the desert wind; something #paranormal was beckoning me to enter the home from a distance while I was photographing another #desertedhouse from nearby in #Duran #NewMexico. Half the town is now #ghosted. I walked in the house that was calling me and found abandoned photo albums of some Mexican family that was living in the home during the late 1980s and noted this by the dates on images. I noticed the same house in the photos and there were also photos of an old man on his death bed. I photographed all these photos that were sitting loosely in the house because something told me to document them and I will be sharing online in another couple months. I left the house about 15 minutes later because the energy was getting too strong and so I went to photograph the rest of the town for about an hour and then couldn’t resist the urgency to return to the house; it was talking to me through my intuition and it was very loud. Upon returning to the adobe, I started to lock focus where I originally sensed the energy that drew me into the house. I walked into the room of the curtain and started photographing the curtain whipping in the wind with some sort of bright white light went passed the window but I didn’t see it, the first time but it lit up the dark abandoned room twice. The second time it happened I saw the object out the corner of my eye but not quick enough to identify what it was? Each time it happened; it was right while I was getting ready to fire he shutter of my camera. It reminded me of a big tall football player wearing a bright white T-shirt and walking passed the window and reflecting the bright sunlight. But there was nobody outside the window and there is dead June grass next to the outside of the house; I would have heard foot steps! The only other time something similar happened to me was in Fort Sumner 7 years ago when a coffee cup slid off the counter. There are more details but it’s hard to fit in a caption. The most obvious of the details is that it was hardly windy that day. I will share photos here on my IG feeds in the near future of this place... (at Duran, New Mexico)

A part of me wants to live Utah for good and head over to New Mexico and reestablish my life over there!? I have friends around Albuquerque and Santa Fe. My family is in Southern Utah though. I guess as long as I can get around the Southwest once in a while this desire to leave Utah is temporarily quenched. I’ve been stuck in Utah though and it has been exceptionally tough over the holidays. I captured this along #Route66, an old #abandoned #desertedhouse. Most of #Arizona is sanitized and kosher but I can still find #ruraldecay along 66 or on the Navajo Rez. #Kingman, #AZ is a beautiful town of course. I never can get enough of this #UFOCountry! 🛸👽🌵

Notice the #texture in the curtain, I shot that wide open at f1.2 on the #Porst 55mm F1.2... my copy of the lens is the most heavily criticized of the #Tomioka family of lenses for being "less sharp" than the #Cosina #Yashinon #Revuenon & #Chinon #55mm lenses. Every single fast f1.2 lens is going to be soft, especially the more vintage legacy lenses. Sharpness isn't the most important factors in picking a fast lens though, it's going to be the character of the #blur, also known as #bokeh! #ruraldecay #desertedhouse #utah
