#dere types

PART 1

Idk why, but I love mixing multiple anime personalities to make a unique cocktail for some of my characters. I thought it was a bad thing that the usual dere types are flat, before I realized they're are an ingredient rather than a complete dish, and ingredients are supposed to be very narrow, if you know what I mean.

kuudere — a term for one who initially acts cold, expressionless, & indifferent to hide their loving feelings, but becomes cute, lovey-dovey, & deredere around their love interest after getting closer to them.

Scout: genki-tsundere. (Energetic af due to caffeinated drinks, but grumpy as fuck)

Soldier: tsunbaka. (Grumpy on the outside, sweet on the inside. Also, he's incredibly dumb.)

Pyro: yandere. (Cute on the outside, insane and crazy on the inside)

Demoman: yottadere. (Drunk as fuck)

Heavy: tsundere-Goudere-jendere. (Tough on the outside, gentle on the inside)

Engineer: deredere. (Precious both on the outside and inside. He can be a little tsundere though)

Medic: he's a mute hajidan (hajidere and dandere hybrid) (Shy as fuck. He was psycho for 5 years but it's actually because of trauma and memory loss that a nazi soldier gave in in 1967, and the manipulation and tragedies that he experienced since age 5. On the inside and outside He's shy, quiet, clumsy, motherly, innocent, gentle, soft, loving, peaceful, romantic, introverted, sweet, and incredibly wholesome, he's just an incredibly tragic and broken abuse victim who just wants to escape from ethnic cleansing, xenophobia, and colorism. I feel bad for him...)

Sniper: kuudere. (Looks emotionless 24/7 but he can laugh sometimes. He's also incredibly introverted)

What dere type is your f/o??

Ive been trying hard to find one that fits him but none really do. :’D

I feel like ppl would call Hugo a kuudere but he isn’t expressionless / emotionless at all !!! His expressions are just limited (autism). He’s a whimsical guy, “nerdy” <- major into philosophy & overly analytical in general.

I’d want a dere type that’d reflect his nerdy self & the “whimsical” aspect about him. Or even a polite prince like dere type ! His innocent know it all personality ( Genuine but due to bluntness & being French ofc it comes across as rude leaning)

It’s really hard to say because nothing really fits. I have yandere aus…. But yk -3- || honestly he’d probably be a yandere by default it’s just moreso situational imo.

Natsuki - Hiyakasudere (still not honest with her feelings, but hides them under friendly teasing as opposed to harshness, still likes manga)

Monika - Himedere (a more prideful take on her "little miss perfect" front, still bitter that Yuri is the president, instead of her, is irritated by Sayori, likes fantasy books, especially isekai light novels)

Yuri - Dorodere (is more social yet still polite and dignified, keeps her more dangerous and possessive side under wraps, still likes horror books)
