I think my favourite thing about the J2 Destiel question was, when after Jared's little rant, Jensen said Cas' love is more than humans can understand then cleared his throat, for seemingly no reason, and said the relationship is open for international, his opinion is just his and that's okay. On any other day and any other context, I'd hate the 'open for international' shit when talking about LGBTQIA+ characters but it felt like Jensen trying his best to calmly tell Jared to stfu. [29:50]

I want to spend my life next to you. You are my best friend and you mean the world to me. That's how Cas felt about Dean and that is romantic love and sex has nothing to do with it"
He then pointed out that Jared immediately associated being gay with sex and Jensen tried to say romantic doesn't necessarily mean sexual(basically trying to get him to stop talking about it sexually cause that was NOT the question) but Jared ignored him and kept talking about being gay as a purely sexual thing. "Take you to a hotel room" and such.
And that is one of the major reasons what he said was homophobic. It's like his brain went "oh gay means butt stuff" and didn't consider anything else about it.
"You can love anything"
Yes Jared, you can. In fact, some men even love other men romantically and it has nothing to do with taking them to a hotel room. Sex can be how you express love but it doesn't have to be and it's not what defines being in love with someone. Physical expression of love is great but that's not all gays do together believe it or not....
