I've always pictured in my head that Sweden is in fact a person that, while not showing it outwardly, needs some company in the long term, feels like he probably always had someone that lived with him thought out his life y'know? (now, the question of if the wanted to *live* with voluntarily is another thing) (you could maybe use some historical example for this but I'm not smart enough to remember any in the top of my head.) So basically working as lighthouse keeper is lowkey hell, but he is being very brave about it. And I think adding a washed up ashore Denmark is like adding more bullshit to the plate that is taking care of ighthouse but maybe is lowkey #healing for but he also really wants to kill him but thats just how being with denmark is so thats part of the charm.

NOW. if denmark was a mermaid you could paly with the Sweden thinking he is going straight up crazy cause imagine you are lighthouse keeper. youhaven't talked to anybody in several months, you are going crazy, you have to get up every 4 hours to light up the damn lighthouse, you've been straight up bullshit for so long. And now damn MERMAID shows up. Like okay. I'm going to eat this thing. Just kiddng. it's a man. And now you gotta take care of it plus all the bullshit of the lighthouse. Might as well. im going crazy so now i have a mermaid man on my bathtub that is probably actually just a salmon. And hes talking to me great maybe i will not eat him right now casue im lonely as hell in this damn light house. well. okay if he dies for whatever reason ill eat him cause i miss eating food that taste good. oh god and he's annoying too, fuck my life. at least i can smoke with this fish.
