Jongho had turned as red as a beet, unsure of what to do next. All he could do was cover his mouth and stare back at her while she sat on his lap for what felt like forever. He was also at a loss for words, trying to register what had just happened since everything happened so quickly like a domino effect. Clearing his throat after a moment, he helped her to her feet before getting up as well. "N-noona, I really am sorry," he apologized again, not realizing he was still holding onto her hand. "Are... are you alright?"

Jongho breathed a sigh of relief when she confirmed that she was fine. He quickly registered the position they were in after the initial concern wore off, his own cheeks turning red. "Ah, noona, let me–" As he sat up, attempting to help her back to her feet while she scrambled to get off of him, their lips met in the midst of the chaos. Eyes widening, he immediately pulled away and apologized to her. "S-sorry, I swear that was an accident!"

It wasn't a serious burn or anything, just enough to sting, but the way Daehyun set their drink down to make sure he was okay caused his heart to skip a beat. He felt his cheeks turning red and a small tingle at the back of his skull in response to their gentle tone. All he could do was swallow and nod, allowing them to examine his lips while he held his drink tightly in both of his hands. He couldn't help staring at the handsome face in front of him as they did so – the urge to kiss them was growing strong.

"You make me feel at peace whenever I'm with you. Thank you, hyung!" Wooyoung graciously accepts the offered mug of hot chocolate, the scent already soothing him. He was a bit too hasty in taking a sip, however, and made a sound when he burned his lip. "Ouch–"

Lifting his head, he yawned and smiled at the other man when they spoke. "They told you, huh?" Wooyoung pushed himself away from the desk and stood, hurrying over to wrap his arms around their waist in a warm embrace. "I missed you, hyung. I didn't want to spend another day not being able to see you."

Of course I don't! I love being around you. Just your presence manages to calm me and drown out the chaos of the rest of the world. You offer me so much more than coffee and hot chocolate, believe me, but I do enjoy the simple things too ㅎ

Jongho blinked when he heard his name and footsteps hurrying behind him. Turning, he quickly reached out to catch Jihyun as she tripped. "Whoa—" As luck would have it, he managed to lose his footing in the motion so the impact of the small girl's body against his knocked him over. With a small groan, he lifted his head to check on her; at least he cushioned her fall. "Noona, are you alright?"
