Kyojuro Rengoku:

- This man is always ready to give you kisses. You barely have to get the words out before his lips find yours. If y’all are out in public he might give you a quick peck on the cheek. Bottom line he will always kiss you when you ask

- Rengoku kisses passionately, when you kiss him it’s like kissing the sun. It’s all consuming and it ignites a fire that is hard to put out. I feel like Rengoku has to start and end kissing, simply because he’s so intoxicating. When you start you don’t want to stop

- Gives soft kisses in the morning and before bed. Even if you’re sleeping, always leans down for a quick peck. Before he goes away on a mission he kisses you like it’s his last one. “There, that should keep the stitches in place”, Shinobu says as she finishes placing the bandage on your arm. “Thank you-”, you began to say but are cut off when the door flings open so hard a resounding crack is heard as it slams into the wall. Both you and Shinobu look up in shock as your husband the Flame Hashira stands in the doorway expression full of concern. His fiery eyes find yours and he immediately crosses over toward you, stopping mere inches from the bed you were sitting on. “Y/N”, he whispers as his panic subsides, noticing that you only have a small bandage on your arm. You reach up and softly cup his cheek, “Kyo, I’m ok”, you tell him as Shinobu takes her cue to silently slip out of the room. “It’s just a small cut”, you continue with a small smile. Rengoku closes his eyes for a moment taking a steadying breath. It’s quiet for a second before he leans down and kisses you. It’s soft at first, but when his arms grasp your waist, pulling you up, you gasp, allowing Rengoku to deepen the kiss. Heat envelopes you as your arms wrap around his neck only pulling back when you need air. “I’m ok”, you whisper before pulling Rengoku into a tight hug.

Uzui Tengen:

- Honestly you don’t even need to ask for kisses that much. Tengen is the type of man to kiss his partners at the right time/ as it’s needed. You only ask for his kisses when you want his attention. I also see Tengen to be the type of man to kiss you anytime and anywhere, public or not

- Tengen’s kisses start soft but become more passionate and intimate the longer yall are making out. In the heat of the moment they can be sloppy, but when he takes his time, kissing Tengen is like a firework exploding. It’s magical and takes your breath away

- Tengen kisses you at the most random times. When you’re cooking dinner, simply taking a stroll, or even as you’re getting ready for the day. Will also kiss you before he leaves for a mission, but keeps it short and sweet, leaving you wanting more, his way of saying I’ll be back

A heavy silence fills the air as you and the others watch as your husband sheathes his swords on his back. “Duty calls”, Tengen says, turning to look at the four of you. You had faith in his abilities, but no matter how many times he left to slay a demon, you always worried for him. “Be safe”, Suma says with a smile. “Always am”, Tengen replies with his own and you politely look away as he moves to kiss her. Tengen takes his time with his wives, giving them equal amount of attention and care. “Hey, don’t worry so much”, he softly says when it’s your turn. Tengen leans down, his large hand lifting up your chin as he kisses you. His lips brush against yours and you part them, allowing the kiss to deepen for a moment sighing sweetly, before he pulls back. “I’ll be back before you know it,” Tengen says before disappearing into the darkness, leaving you and the others with hope that he’ll be back in one piece.

Giyuu Tomioka:

- It takes him a full minute or two for his brain to process what you just asked. You want him to kiss you?? lol, but in all seriousness he needs to think before reacting. Giyuu will definitely kiss you in the privacy of home or maybe in a deserted alleyway, but don’t expect much beyond that if yall out in public

- Giyuu is a soft and passionate kisser. Somedays it’s like a soft rain that slowly envelopes you and other days it’s a tidal wave crashing down on you, carrying you away from reality for a moment. It really depends on Giyuu’s mood and situation, but all that matters is that he’s there to keep you tethered from being swept away

- Giyuu loves to start his day with your kisses, when he wakes up he’s leaning down to give you a quick peck. When he leaves for a mission, Giyuu kisses you softly, but his kiss is full of unspoken words and affections that he can’t say, but lucky for him you can understand. When he has a tough mission or near death experience, that’s the time he’ll kiss the life out of you, needing you to keep me him grounded to this world

The air is still and quiet when the Water Hashira awakens from his slumber. Sunlight peeks through a small crack in the window, illuminating one small corner of the room. He turns over gently hoping to not awaken you, a small smile gracing his face when he looks down at you. Hair is strewn all over your face and pillow as you lay deep in your slumber. It’s rare to see you so at ease, so at peace that Giyuu doesn’t dare wake you up. He simply reaches out, carefully brushing the hair away from your face before leaning down to softly place his lips on yours. Silently Giyuu moves off of the futon, making sure to cover you back up, giving you one final kiss before going to start his day.

Sanemi Shinazugawa:

- Cheeks blush with your bold question. “Do I not kiss you enough”, would be the first thing he says before he’s quick to kiss you. Similar to Rengoku, he’d only kiss your cheek in public or maybe steal a real one in an empty alleyway. However if your at home, you don’t need to ask often

- Sanemi is a one of a kind kisser. Passionate, fierce, hungry, and loving all at the same time. Kissing him is like facing a thunderstorm head on; it’s wild, raging, but mesmerizing at the same time. In rare intimate moments he can be quite soft, kissing you so deeply that you can feel his love for you reverberating off his body.

- Is unable to properly start his day or mission without your kiss. He swears it’s his good luck charm. When he leaves, it’s the back against the wall type of kiss. “Nemi”, you cry, tears nearly spilling out of your eyes as he comes into view. You hadn’t heard from him or his crow in three full days, something that was not common. You’d began to think the worst, that you’d lost him. “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry”, he replies before quickly pulling you into his arms. You didn’t care that he was covered in blood, he was finally home. Sanemi leans down kissing you, his hands grab your waist harshly, and you knew there would be marks later. Your back connects with the wall moments later, kissing you with such a force you thought the wall might actually break. Your hands move to grab his uniform, ripping it off his body as he makes quick work of your own clothes. There’d be time to talk later, but for now you needed to feel him, to know he was truly there.

Iguro Obanai:

- Obanai has to warm up to kissing you. It’s not something he can freely do on his own accord for a while. It’s a slow and steady process, but when he’s ready he is going all in. He’ll only kiss you in the privacy of his own place and when you ask for a kiss he’ll gladly give it to you when he’s ready

- Obanai is a soft kisser, kissing you so tenderly it’s like he doesn’t want to harm you. Kissing him is like kissing the universe. It breathes life into you, it makes you feel loved, happy, and safe. One the rare occasion, he’ll kiss you so passionately that neither of you are making it out alive. It’s the type of passion that ignites the heat in your belly and you know your a goner

- Loves the intimacy of good night kisses. At the end of the day it’s you and him against the world, he doesn’t have to hide himself away. When Obanai leaves for a mission, he pulls you tightly into his arms and kisses you so sweetly you might not be able to walk for a moment.

Obanai freezes as your hands slide up his face, fingers carefully tracing the outline of his white bandage. What if you think he’s ugly or unworthy races through his mind and he moves stop your hand. “You don’t have to hide yourself away from me”, you tell him gently, before you resume your previous movements. Obanai braces for your reaction as the bandage slips free and his scar comes into full view. Your eyebrows furrow with pity for a moment as your fingers trace the rough edges of his scar. Obanai closes his eyes, steadying himself and that’s when you make your move. Your lips touch his gently being mindful of his level of comfort. He gasps quietly against your lips, eyes opening in shock for a moment. You move to pull away when Obanai’s hand catches your face, keeping you steady as he brings your lips together once more.

Gyomei Himejima:

- Gladly leans down to give you a kiss when you ask for it. In fact sometimes you don’t need to ask, often sensing when you want a kiss. Might kiss your cheek in public, but will only give you full kisses at home. But at home he’s going to give you the attention you deserve

- Depending on his mood is a surprisingly gentle kisser. He is mindful of his size, so when he kisses you he holds himself back often. But sometimes he can’t contain himself and boy you can kiss your life goodbye. Gyomei will kiss the daylight out of you, you won’t be able to breathe. Kissing Gyomei is like hiking a mountain sometimes. It can be brutal and tough at times; but just as the views are spectacular, so is kissing Gyomei, it’s worth it every time

- Similar to Giyuu, Gyomei loves his morning kisses. Your presence soothes him and it helps him get into a good mood to start the day. When he kisses you before a mission it’s bone crushing and full of tears. He’ll grab you by the waist holding you tightly for a moment as his lips crash down onto yours and then just as quick he’s gone leaving you with your goodbye still hanging in your mouth

“Mission, Mission, head to Mount Haku”, Gyomei’s crow caws from the window. You’re unable to hide your frustrated sigh. “Little one”, the Stone Hashira starts, but you don’t let him finish. “I know, I know you have a duty to protect the innocent, but I just got you back”, you say. “And as always, I will come back to you”, he says moving to stand in front of you. His finger catches your cheek, turning you to face him. Before you can respond, his lips are on yours in a bruising kiss, you stumble back with the force of it, but Gyomei expertly braces you, before he pulls away a simple “I love you” falling from his lips. “Be safe”, you whisper as he moves to grab his weapon, turning to give you one last small smile before he heads out the door.

A/N: Guys I really enjoyed writing this one. I’ve always wanted to do something with my two favorite water boys/characters. I love the relationship between Giyuu and Tanjiro, they are probably my favorite duo in Demon Slayer. I was also happy to finally include Tanjiro (my son) into my writing. So anyway please enjoy!

Giyuu Tomioka knew from very early on that he wanted you, indefinitely. You never judged him as harshly as some of the other Hashira. Never questioned his judgement about saving Nezuko. But most importantly, you never swayed from his side, standing by him through some hard times, even when others began to question your own judgment. No matter the depth of his own problems, you were always there to saving him from drowning in the tidal wave of his grief. You were his rock, the reason he kept fighting as hard as he did. And so, Giyuu Tomioka knew he wanted to marry you, but he had absolutely zero idea to ask for your hand.

He agonized over ideas for hours, days, and now weeks, to no avail. “Giyuu-San”, Tanjiro Kamado’s voice rings out, breaking the Water Hashira from his deep thoughts. “Is everything ok? I’m catching a whiff of confusion from you”, the young boy says looking at the dark haired man. Giyuu wonders for a moment if he should tell the Kamado boy about his predicament, but then images of Shinazugawa punching the lights out of him the last time Tanjiro tried to interject himself into Giyuu’s problems, had the Water Pillar immediately dismissing the idea. The last thing he needed was you upset or angry at him.

So, Giyuu tries to deter the boy, but as persistent as ever, Tanjiro speaks again. “Does it have anything to do with Y/N-san? Anytime she’s around you the scent gets stronger”, he continues, bright eyes looking up at Giyuu. Giyuu sighs defeatedly, before informing the young sun breather of his pressing issue. “I want to ask her to be my wife, but I’m not sure how” he says, cheeks flushing slightly as Tanjiro’s face breaks out into a huge smile. “That’s wonderful”, he cries, before he places his thumb under his chin, thinking.

“Does Ms. L/N have a favorite flower? Maybe you could make her a bouquet of her favorite flowers”, he says earnestly, but then his smile fades, “But is that romantic enough?”, Tanjiro questions aloud. Giyuu says nothing, shrugging his shoulders. “Hmm then maybe…”, Tanjiro continues to go off with countless ideas and before he and Giyuu realize the afternoon had come and gone. It was late enough that you had set off to find Giyuu, it was uncommon for the raven haired man to be late for dinner.

So you had gone out to find him, walking the long path to the sparring area, knowing he was meant to be training the Kamado boy. As you walk along the gravel path, you had figured they lost track of time and it wasn’t long before you spot the two. Except as you walk closer you realize they weren’t sparring, in fact you weren’t exactly sure what they were doing. Your footsteps falter slightly as their voices carry across the open training grounds.

“Giyuu-San you can’t just ask her to marry you like that you have to try and be a bit more romantic”, Tanjiro says, tone slightly disapproving Giyuu’s latest plan for your hand in marriage. You freeze momentarily, heart racing at Kamado’s words. Marry you, rings through your head. You’d always known deep down Giyuu was the one for you. That you’d spend the rest of your lives together. However, hearing the words out loud made your heart flutter. So, after regaining your composure, you continue your walk towards them.

“Ok, so what you’re saying is-”, Giyuu says, but gets cut off by, “So this is what you boys have been up to”, you say approaching the two men. You have to hide back a chuckle as Tanjiro jumps nearly a foot in the air. “Ms. L/N”, he squeaks out, guilt immediately crossing his features. “Y/N”, Giyuu says quietly, the tips of his ears burning a bright pink. How you enjoyed seeing the Water Hashira flustered. “Dinner was getting cold so I went out in search for you. I have to say I was not expecting this”, you continue in a teasing tone. “Please don’t get mad Ms. L/N. I uh, well you see, I had asked Mr. Tomioka-”, Tanjiro rambles, unsure of what to say. However you stop him with a slight chuckle. “I heard everything”, you tell the young boy, watching him with smile as an “Ah” falls from his mouth.

You turn to look at Giyuu, who sighs deeply, eyes closed. Tanjiro takes note of the changing atmosphere, “Oh! I just remembered, I promised Nezuko I’d braid her hair, I’ll be going now”, he says with a small bow before zipping out of the training area as you laugh quietly again, turning towards Giyuu. You reach your hand out grabbing his, giving it a reassuring squeeze. “Everything?”, he questions, opening his eyes to look at you. You swear you could get lost in the beauty of his eyes, a shade of blue that matched the depth of the ocean. “Pretty much”, you tell him quietly. “I hear you might have a question to ask me, but if you’re not ready it can wait”, you continue.

The Water Hashira shakes his head knowing it was too late to back out of this now, “I tried so hard to make this special”, he says tone slightly defeated. You smile softly, hand reaching up to cup his cheek, thumb brushing softly against the smooth skin. “Just so you know, no matter how you ask my answer will always be the same”, you tell him truthfully. That was exactly what he needed to hear. Giyuu grabs your wrist, hand moving to hold yours tighter. “I’m not good with words, but everyday when I look at you I realize I want your face to be the first thing I see in the morning and the last thing I see before I sleep”, he starts, tone soft. “You make me better person, make me see the good in this world, and I never want to be parted from you. I love you so much, so will you marry me?”, Giyuu continues voice cracking slightly.

You close your eyes for a moment before you whisper, “Yes”. Giyuu’s lips crash down on yours a moment later, kissing you passionately. There was no flowers, no big speech, not even a ring. It was just you and him and in that exact moment nothing else mattered.

Dread fills your stomach, you knew what he was about to say were words you didn’t want to hear, but you knew Giyuu deserved the chance to say what he wanted. “Ok, I’m listening”, you tell him quietly. “I love you”, he starts and you open your mouth, but true to your words you closed it again. “I know I don’t say it enough, for that I’m sorry, but I love you so much”, Giyuu continues before placing a quick kiss to the top of your head. “I swear to god that I will fight as hard as I can to get back to you, but”, Giyuu’s voice falters for a moment and you bit your lip, trying to keep your emotions at bay. “But truthfully I don’t know if I’ll make it out alive”, he says. “Yu”, you whisper, but he ignores you. “If I don’t make it back, I just want you to know that you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me. You are my sun on my darkest days and I hope you know how much you mean to me”, Giyuu finishes. Then room falls quiet as tears begin to silently slide down your cheeks. You look back up at him and begin to cry harder when you see his own tears. In all your years you had been with the Water Hashira you had never seen him cry before and it hurt you to see him this way.

“Oh Giyuu”, you murmur, moving your fingers to carefully wipe the tears that fall from his eyes. His hand grabs your wrist, stilling your movements. “I love you”, Giyuu says before his lips crash down on yours. You feel the emotion in his kiss, how heavy his lips fall onto yours. Giyuu’s other hand moves to cradle the back of your head and before you known it, your back connects with the hard wooden floor as he comes crashing down on top of you. I find Giyuu to be a very empathetic person, even though he’s the most emotionally closed off Hashira, he feels the most for others. (Like bro didn’t kill Nezuko. Any other Hashira aside from maybe Mitsuri would have immediately killed her). That being said I could see Giyuu taking your insecurities very personally

I could see Giyuu thinking he didn’t do enough to make you feel better. So he’s immediately going to work on being more vocal about your beauty, looks, strength, etc. Giyuu would say things like you look beautiful, or I think this kimono/ garment looks amazing on you

Definitely would praise you way more during sex, going out of his way to make you feel beautiful in your most vulnerable state. Though quiet, he’s not taking shit from anyone who comments about your size

Would be the most confused out of the bunch on your feelings. Sanemi knows a thing or two about not fitting social beauty standards, but since he shows his scars with pride, would be confused on why don’t see yourself as worthy

Is not allowing you to say anything negative about yourself out loud. He’d shut that down soo fast. “Don’t fucking say that”, comes out of his mouth so quick. Idk why but I see him making you say daily affirmations or something similar to that.

Will straight up commit murder if someone says something negative about your weight. If it’s you, he’s not gonna murder you, but would angry that you see yourself in such a negative way

If you’re having a really hard time, he’ll soften up. Reminds you daily of your beauty and why he loves every square inch of your body. Will help you reach his level of self confidence in anyway he can

“Would you say that to someone else?”, Sanemi asks, eyebrows furrowed in frustration. “Of course not”, you immediately respond, looking at him shocked. “Then why the fuck would you say that about yourself?”, he questions walking closer to you. You open your mouth to speak, but nothing comes out. “You are so beautiful, every time I look at you I wonder how someone as gorgeous as you chose me”, Sanemi continues as he closes the distance, pulling you into his arms. “Nemi-”, you start but get quickly cut off. “You are not allowed to say that ever again”, he commands, peering down at you. “Promise me”, he says. You roll your eyes, but his finger hooks under your chin, “Promise me”, he says again in a much softer tone, one that reserved just for you. You note the seriousness in his eyes and begin to think that maybe you had gone too far. “I promise”, you say quietly before he pulls you into a tight embrace.

Iguro Obanai:

Would be so sad at first. How could the most beautiful person he knows be insecure about their weight? He would also be sad because you accepted who he was, scars and all. You always tell him how handsome he is, so why can’t you do the same for yourself?

After the initial shock Obanai is stepping up. Similar to Sanemi he would not allow you to say anything negative about yourself. If you did, he’d find a way to counter the negativity. Goes out of his way to give you daily praises and make you feel happy about yourself

Even though Obanai doesn’t eat so much because of what happened to him as a kid, I see him trying really hard to make sure to eat with you and reminding you if you want to have something enjoy it. It’s ok to enjoy food

Similar to Rengoku would help you out if you really pushed wanting to lose weight, but would constantly remind you that he loves you no matter what size you are and that you don’t have to do anything you don’t want to

You sigh as you pulled on your Corps uniform, hating how tight it sat on your body. You couldn’t deny it anymore, you needed a larger uniform. Tears form in your eyes as your husband pokes his head in, wondering what was taking you so long. “Hey, what’s…”, he starts, but stops as he sees you rip off your uniform. “What’s wrong is I’m fat”, you cry out in frustration. “Hey, don’t say that”, Obanai says, tone sad as he approaches you. “Well it’s the fucking truth”, you respond. “You are not fat”, Obanai starts. You sigh, “I hate this”, you groan. “I know, but be more gentle with yourself, there is nothing wrong with you”, he tells you softly. Though you were still unhappy with yourself, you could feel Obanai’s love for you and for today at least it would be enough.

Gyomei Himejima:

Gyomei is not a little guy, so he would be upset that you felt that way. You always support him and make him feel loved when he has his own insecurities with his size, so he would be sad to see you be harsh on yourself

Would work really hard to understand why you felt that way. There was a time when he was thin and small, but that was because he was underfed and untrained, so he would want to know why you want to be that way

Makes sure to do anything he can to make you feel beautiful. I see Gyomei really enjoying holding your stomach while cuddling and any area that your uncomfortable with, he’d give it extra attention and remind you why he loves it so much

If you are really struggling I could see him reaching out to Shinobu or Mitsuri and asking on how he should approach the situation and help make you feel better. He is patient and strong willed so he’s gonna be there for you no matter how long it takes for you to feel more confident

- I already use little/my flame in my writing and I really do think this would be one that he uses, especially if his partner is smaller in size. You bring light to his life, thus be prepared to hear things like “My flame you look so beautiful today”

- I also see Rengoku using sunshine a lot. Like he just fits the vibe of giving you nicknames related to his breathing style 😂. Almost every morning he’s greeting you with “Good morning sunshine”

You sigh seemingly annoyed, but secretly you couldn’t wait another minute to be Kyojuro Rengoku’s wife. “Ladies is she free to go?”, he asks. “She’s all yours, see you next time!”, Mitsuri says as you and Rengoku take your leave hand in hand.

Uzui Tengen: (I went wild with the smut, idk what got into me cause 😮‍💨)

- This flashy man probably has a dozen flashy nicknames he has prepared for his four wives, but I also see Tengen having a special nickname for each of his wives. He would probably use something along the lines of spitfire for a feisty person or something like angel for a softer more caring person. Either is unique to you

- Tengen is the type of man to have the most ridiculous names saved on his phone if he lived in the modern world. He’d definitely have something like Pookie or Shnuckums saved. “Tengen why do you have me saved as Pookie”you say looking through his phone

- Gives me the type of vibe that he’d use babe a lot. Whether it’s in the middle of an argument or just a simple mundane question. “Hey babe what’s for dinner”

- Finally I see Tengen using my girl when he’s teasing you a lot or when he’s fucking you. “Oh so my girl likes it like that huh? or “Is my girl jealous?” He can’t help himself it just falls form his lips

Whether it’s sex or a special occasion, it’s going to be the only time he uses terms like that. In some of my other fics I’ve used something like “Fuck love” and I personally think that suits him

- Another one I might see him using is some variation of sweetheart. Again this is something he doesn’t use often, but might use it if you’ve been hurt or after an argument. It’s his attempt to show you that he cares

- Finally I do see Giyuu using my wife, but not the way Rengoku uses it. Giyuu uses it in a way to “make a claim”. What I mean by that is he wants to make it clear that you are his partner, so everyone else can butt out. “Excuse me, that’s my wife”, would definitely be something he says

Giyuu tries to remain calm as he runs down the halls of the Butterfly Mansion. As he enters the room he takes in the scene playing out before him. Crimson red bandages and gauze are littered across the floor as Aoi and Shinobu stand over the bed that holds you, trying their best to close your wound. “Kocho”, Giyuu chokes out. “She’s asking for you”, Shinobu tells him, focused on the stitching. Giyuu takes in your ragged form, relief flooding through him as his eyes find yours open and somewhat alert. “Giyuu”, you murmur, tears streaming down your face. “I’m here sweetheart”, he responds, carefully stepping around Aoi before grabbing your hand. He eyes Shinobu for a second. “She’ll be ok, lost more blood than I would have liked, but she’ll be ok”, she tells him. He sweeps some hair out of your face, “You’re gonna be fine”, he repeats and you nod your head eyes closing at the relief from his words.

Sanemi Shinazugawa:

- For some reason I see him using doll a lot, though it’s a bit outdated, I feel as if it fits his character. Like it’s his go to, he uses it everyday. “Morning doll”, is something I really see Sanemi saying.

- I also see him using something along the lines of darlin. It’s simple but sweet enough for you. “Darlin can we talk about this later” or “here are your favorite flowers darlin”. Like idk why but it’s just so Sanemi coded (the way he would say it tho, mmmhmm)

- For more intimate moments I see him using something like baby. It might the only time he uses it. Sanemi gets caught up in the moment and it just slips out. “Fuck baby you feel so good” or something similar

- Finally I could see Sanemi using brat. It took a bit of getting used to, but he doesn’t mean it a bad way. “Oi stop it you brat”, when your teasing him or “alright you brat”, if your being a bit whiny.

“Darlin you need to get up”, you hear Sanemi say as he comes back into the room. Usually you didn’t have much trouble waking up, but today you were exhausted. “Mmm do I have to?”, you mumble still half asleep, face smushed against the pillow. Sanemi sighs, as much as he wished he could let you sleep in, there was too much on the agenda. So he grabs the covers and yanks them off of you, allowing the cool air to wake you. “Hey!”, you shout grumpily, finally sitting up. “Sorry”, he leans down giving you a chaste kiss. “Duty calls”, he continues as you scoot out of the bed. “Duty my ass”, you mumble at him angrily, but at least you were out of bed.

Iguro Obanai:

- I feel like Obanai would have a mix of soft nicknames as well as some unique ones. One thing I could see him doing is turning your favorite snack or treat into a term of endearment such Peaches or maybe Mochi. He doesn’t say it around other people, keeping it private.

- Another I see him using is something like Starlight. It’s simple but unique to you because you light up his life. “Hey Starlight” in a soft voice fits his vibe. I feel like Obanai would mainly use your first name in a public setting so this would again be a more private one

- He strikes me as someone who probably use sweetheart as well. He uses this when he’s concerned about you, “Sweetheart tell me what’s wrong?” Or “Sweetheart you need to eat something”

- Lastly my love. It’s a classic, but it conveys his feelings for you plainly. “Drink some tea my love” or “I’ll see you soon my love”, he typically uses this when Obanai is at his happiest

Obanai places the mug into your hands, “You need to drink this my love”, he tells you softly. You’d been battling a cold for the better part of three days and nothing seemed to help ease your throat pain other than some hot tea. “Thanks”, you whisper, voice horse. He leans down to place a quick kiss to your forehead. “Finish it up and then get some rest. I’m be here when you wake up”, the Snake Hashira continues. You nod your head softly before bringing the warm drink to your lips, relief hitting you as the hot liquid runs down your throat. Being sick sucked, but thankfully you had a good partner taking care of you.

Gyomei Himejima:

- Definitely uses little one and uses it at random times. Gyomei is a large man so his partner is going to be significantly smaller than him so this nickname fits. “Little one what’s wrong” or “Good morning little one”

- Also uses Angel. He uses this when he’s the most happiest and most in love with you. “I love you angel” would be said in his deep voice and instantly your weak at the knees

- I feel like Gyomei would also use my dear a lot. This might be his go to nickname for you, “my dear what’s wrong” or “there you are my dear” I see him uses this a lot if he was married to you

- Finally I also see Gyomei using Honey. Like he just fits the vibe of using classic/ slighter older nicknames. You would never hear “pookie” fall from his mouth ever. “Would you like some tea honey” is something I see him saying

You feel his large strong arms wrap around you, pulling you into a tight embrace. “Mei?”, you ask leaning your head back against his sturdy chest. “I missed you Angel”, he says, leaning down to place a soft kiss on your forehead. “I missed you too, welcome home”, you respond as the Stone Hashira loosens his grip so you could to turn to face him. “Would like something to eat or drink?”, you ask him. “No, I just want to hold for you for a bit longer”, he tells you. You smile before leaning your head back on his chest, that was something you could do for him.

First Time:

The first time you had slept with the Wind Hashira was simply because the two of you had no choice. Bad weather had sent the two of you on a hunt for any place of shelter when you had finally spotted a cave. “Let’s go there”, you shouted to him over the howl of the wind. Shinazugawa was not pleased, but with the rain already soaking the both of you to the core he begrudgingly agreed. After about twenty minutes of waiting by the entrance you knew the rain wouldn’t be stopping anytime soon, so you looked for the most comfy spot among the rocks and debris that littered the cave floor before sitting down. “The hell are you doing?”, Shinazugawa barked as he turns toward you. “Sitting. We are going to be here for a while, might as well get some rest”, you tell him straightforwardly. He grumbles something that sounded like a curse word before moving to sit down as well. “Do you want me to take the first watch?”, you ask him after a couple minutes of silence. “No, you sleep first”, Shinazugawa says, eyes focused on the weather. You don’t respond, simply laying your head back against the cave wall. Hours later when you awaken you come to realized that your head had moved to rest on Sanemi’s shoulder. “Shit, Shinazugawa I’m sorry-“, you start immediately scooting over. “It’s fine”, he sighs, tone surprisingly calm. “The rain seems to be letting up so we should get moving soon”, he says standing. “Why didn’t you wake me?”, you question him. The Wind Hashira shrugged his shoulders, “Seemed like you needed it more than me”, he tells you before taking off, leaving you to do nothing but follow him.

Second Time:

“Oh my you two make a cute couple”, is what lead to you and Sanemi sleeping together again. You had never seen the Wind Hashira blush so much before, but given the situation of needing a room at this late hour, the two of you had no choice but to follow along. Sanemi coughs slightly as you carefully slip your arm through his. “Thank you”, you tell the inn keeper and follow her along the sparsely lit hallway. “Please make yourselves comfortable. I’ll be along later with some hot water”, she tells you before closing the door softly behind her. With the click of the door you immediately slip your arm from Sanemi’s as the two of you stare at the single futon with two pillows. “You had to go along with the old woman and say we were a couple”, Shinazugawa mutters turning to give you devil eyes. You scoff, “It’s the middle of the night and we turn up at her door, what did you want me to say? Oh hello ma’am we just slayed a demon”, you tell him mockingly. He just rolls his eyes, “I’m taking the futon”, he responds. “After the shit we just went through, you expect me to sleep on the bare floor?”, you ask voice raised. “You expect me share a bed with you?”, he asks, tone matching yours. You sigh, “Let’s just put the pillows in the middle”. It’s quiet for a moment, “Fine”, Shinazugawa mumbles before moving to the other side of the bed. After quickly wiping yourselves down with the hot water the innkeeper brought by, removing your haori, you finally slipped under the covers back facing Sanemi. Hoping the pillows would be enough of a barrier, the need for sleep pulled you under. But the next morning when a knock on the door awakens you, you find yourself locked securely in the arms on the Wind Hashira, you face lying against his well toned chest. As the knocking continues, Sanemi comes too, pulling you closer for a moment before a split second later pushing you away harshly when the reality of what he had just done hits him. Before you can even say anything Shinazugawa flees the room and the two of you barely speak for the remainder of the journey home.

Third Time:

An injury is what leads you to your third night with Shinazugawa. When a particularly tough fight has you gaining some badly broken ribs, you find yourself being uncomfortably poked and prodded by the village doctor. “You need at least twenty-four hours rest before you can even consider traveling”, the doctor says, eyeing you carefully. “Any sudden or harsh movements could worsen the injury”, he continues. You let out a pent up sigh. “You should head back Shinazugawa, I could be here for a bit”, you say, craning your neck to look at the white haired man who was staring at the doctor. “Is there someone who can stay with you? You cannot move on your own yet”, the doctor speaks again as he packs away the unused wrapping. “Me”, Sanemi says before you can open your mouth. “Good, I’ll be back in the morning to check on your condition, please try to stay still”, he tells you before heading out. “You’re an idiot”, Sanemi says once the door is shut. “You’re lucky it’s some broken ribs”, he continues before moving to sit next you. You open your mouth to retort, but he’s quick to cut you off “Don’t, you need to rest and arguing isn’t going to help your condition”, Sanemi says. He brushes some hair off your forehead, something you didn’t expect him to do. “I’m sorry I’m keeping you here”, you eventually say. You watch as Sanemi shrugs his shoulders. “It’s not like it’s our first time sharing a room together”, he says causing your cheeks to blush. “Sleep”, Shinazugawa continues and though you weren’t tired you find yourself listening to the Wind Hashira. Later, you couldn’t be quite sure, but you find yourself being lulled to sleep by the rhythmic brushing of fingers through your hair.

Fourth Time:

Nightmares is what sends you to the Wind Pillar’s bed for the fourth time. In your wildest dreams you never thought you’d find yourself here, staring at his door, the man who wielded anger like it was the only emotion he knew. But you knew deep down there was more, that though Sanemi hid it well, he cared deeply. So when your fist makes contact with the door you are unsurprised how quickly it opens. Sanemi stands before you, eyes tired, grumpy from the late hour summons, but filled with concern. “Come in”, he tells you, the dark circles under your eyes a dead give away of your reasoning for being at his door. You follow him quietly as he leads the way to his room. After countless missions and long nights spent together, there was no longer a need for formalities. Though it was unspoken, both of you felt more at ease with the other. So you don’t question it as Sanemi sheds his shirt before laying down on his futon, you simply join him. “Do you want to talk about it?”, he asks after lying in silence for a few moments. You turn your body to face him, “Do you?”, you question back. “Fair point”, he responds, before turning on his back. Another few minutes pass in silence before, “I just don’t know how to get their screams out of my head sometimes”, you tell Sanemi who turns his head to look at you. “Somedays you just accept it, you can’t escape the past, but you can learn from it”, he tells you. You scoff slightly, “What?”, he asks a bit angrily. “Nothing, just didn’t think you’d give good advice”, you tell him plainly. “Whatever, I’m going to sleep, you should too”, Sanemi says before closing his eyes. “But what if I can’t?”, you whisper a bit later and even Sanemi hears the fear in your voice. So he turns on his side before grabbing you, pulling you closer. “I’m not going to let anything happen to you, so just sleep”, he says, his lips brushing against your forehead as you nestle yourself against his chest. And for the first time in weeks you managed to get a full night of sleep.

Fifth Time:

“Why don’t you just stay here permanently”, Sanemi suddenly asks aloud as the two of you settle comfortably underneath the blankets. You look at him shocked. “What? We both know that you get better sleep when you stay over”, he continues. “Well it’s just that…we haven’t exactly talked about this..about us”, you stammer out. “What is there to talk about?”, Sanemi questions. “I thought the other day when Obanai walked in on us kissing it was made clear where we stand”, he says. You close your eyes as the shocked and almost horrified expression Obanai had on his face pops into your brain. “I just want to make sure we are in the same page”, you finally say, shaking your head. “Do you not want to stay here?”, Sanemi questions, worry evident in his tone. “No, no, I do but-“, you begin. “But what? Maybe this wouldn’t be such a bad thing, you think as you find yourself being pulled into the familiar spot against Sanemi’s chest, knowing sleep would come quickly.

Kyojuro Rengoku

- This is going two ways and it’s fully dependent on the seasons. Winter and fall you two will be cuddling when you sleep, his body is so naturally warm that he’s your personal space heater. However once spring and summer hit, goodbye cuddling. As much as you like him, you don’t need to be dripping sweat in your sleep

- Definitely the type of man who likes to have his hands on you when sleeping. It gives him peace of mind, physically feeling your presence. He gives me hand on your hip vibes, during winter he is big spooning you hard core. During the warmer seasons he has to accept only holding your waist

- Definitely sleeps shirtless. It doesn’t matter how hot or cold it is. He radiates so much heat he doesn’t prefer extra layers. Plus Rengoku rather enjoys the skin to skin contact

- Sorry guys, but Rengoku gives me snorer vibes and loud ones. It gets to the point where sometimes you have to sneak away just so you can actually sleep peacefully. But when he wakes up and your not there, you can bet he’s coming for you

You awaken to a warm arm snaking across your waist pulling you closer. “Kyo?”, you mumble still half asleep as he settles next to you. “Yes it’s me, go back to sleep”, he murmurs as he kisses your cheek softly. You shimmy yourself against his taunt chest, finding a comfortable position, warmth flooding through your body from his natural heat. “Ight”, is all your able to get out before sleep overtakes you as easy silence falls across the room.

Uzui Tengen

- again this is going two ways, either giant cuddle puddle with everyone in one big sleeping area. Or I could even see Tengen giving each wife some one on one time by them having separate rooms and he visits on a scheduled night (everyone deserves some alone time)

- If it’s a giant cuddle puddle he’s sleeping in the middle and you and the other wives kinda choose where you want to sleep. Everyone understands each other so there won’t be any jealousy or what not. Tengen loves his wives equally including you. If it’s the other way, as I said it’s scheduled carefully and fairly. And sometimes even Tengen needs a night to just himself

- Definitely sleeps shirtless and wears comfy pants. He is a flashy attractive man, but I don’t really see him sleeping in the nude. Definitely likes to cuddle with his partners, but don’t be surprise if yall wake up on separate sides of the bed in the morning.

- Doesn’t snore, but is an extremely light sleeper. Tengen awakens at the slightest noise, but is able to fall back asleep quickly once he deems it safe enough

You finish folding the rest of the clothes before quietly setting some of it down. It was a surprisingly quiet night in the Tengen household. Thinking you were the only one awake at such a late hour you decided to make your way to your room to put away your clothes; only to drop your basket on the floor as you open the door. Lounging on your bed with a tired look in his eyes was your husband. “Lord Tengen, what are you doing here?”, you question as you close the door quietly, carefully moving the dropped basket. He raises his eyebrow in response, “It’s Tuesday, our night together”, he says in a factual manner. You sigh in worldly, how could you forgot it was your night with Tengen. “I’m sorry I forgot”, you tell him truthfully, moving towards the bed. “No matter, you’re here now, come to bed”, Tengen tells you in tone that means you’re forgiven. He shuffles over to make space for you as you climb onto the bed. Tengen pulls you close to his chest, fingers softly brushing your hair. “Sleep”, he commands gently and it’s not long before the steady rhythm of his heart has you nodding off. “Night love”you whisper sleepily and the last you register is his lips on your forehead before sleep overtakes you.

Giyuu Tomioka

- Is used to sleeping alone so it takes awhile for him to adjust to sleeping next to someone. The first few times you both don’t get much sleep, but over time he finds comfort in your presence to the point that he is unable to sleep without you

- Does enjoy cuddling you occasionally, but Giyuu gives me the type of guy who will give you a soft kiss good night only to turn his body away from you and knock out (😂). Will cuddle you through the night after a fight, injury, or when he needs your touch, but it’s not often. When he does cuddle, prefers to have you on his chest or him on your chest.

- Giyuu probably sleeps in a simple shirt and pants. During the hot months he might sleep shirtless (your favorite time 😏). Will occasionally sleep nude after participating in adult activities, but it’s only at your behest

- Light snorer. Quiet enough that when you’re in a deep sleep it doesn’t register. Also gives me the vibes of talking in his sleep, usually at the beginning of the night, but falls silent in a deep sleep.

The air in the room is tense, a rare occurrence between you and the water Hashira. The fight had been over something so minuscule, but had struck a cord in both of you. You look into Giyuu’s dark blue eyes, wondering if he’ll even join you in bed tonight. After long pause, he sighs before pulling back the covers and sliding onto the soft mattress. An awkward silence fills the air and you know if you don’t clear it, neither of you will be sleeping comfortably. “Yu..”, you start, but find yourself cut off when Giyuu grabs your waist and pulls you onto his chest. “You don’t need to apologize. I’m the one that made it into a big deal. For that I’m sorry”, he says quietly. You lift your head up, “I’m sorry too”, you tell him before softly pecking his chin. He smiles tiredly before softly brushing your cheek for a moment. “It’s late we should get some sleep”, Giyuu says moving to loosely wrap his arms around you. “Night night”, you whisper as the anger and frustration finally leave your body allowing you to find comfort in each other’s arms.

Sanemi Shinazugawa

- Similar to Giyuu he is not used to sleeping with someone. It would take awhile for him to even be comfortable sharing a space with someone. It’s not easy for him to let people in. But when he does let you that means he’s let his walls down. So over time, sleeping next to you becomes Sanemi’s sanctuary, it’s the one place he doesn’t have to hide anything

- Does not give me big cuddle vibes when sleeping, preferring to simply lay down and sleep. However it’s something he warms up to. So while some nights he comes home and just passes out, other nights Sanemi will wrap his arms around your waist and breathe in your scent as you nestle into his chest. (This definitely happens after tough missions or post fun times 😏)

- Definitely sleeps shirtless and honestly probably feels comfortable sleeping naked. After a long day of training I really see him taking a quick bath, toweling off and just crashing into bed, not that you’re complaining. But I also see him mostly sleeping in simple pants so that way when he wakes up he just has throw some clothes on and head out the door

- Can be a heavy snorer, but depends on how deep of a sleep he’s in. Definitely gets bad nightmares( let’s be real they all do). He tries to hide them from you at first, but overtime lets you comfort him instead of him lashing out.

Today was a shitty day, Sanemi thinks as he quietly walks into the bedroom, knowing at this late hour you’d most likely be sleeping. When he finally sees you, curled up on your side, sleeping in his favorite shirt, his frustration abets a little. He quickly moves to strip out of his corps uniform before falling onto the futon with a tired sigh, unintentionally waking you. “Nemi?”, you question sleepily, turning to face the tired Wind Pillar. “Sorry, go back to sleep”, he mumbles closing his eyes. On a normal day you’d listen to him, but something in his tone keeps you awake. You scoot closer to him, grabbing his arm to turn him toward you. His tired eyes lock on to yours and no words needed to be said, you already knew what was bothering him. You cup Sanemi’s face gently, kissing him before nestling into his chest, giving him the comfort he needed. Sanemi sighs before holding you tighter, letting sleep finally overtake him as your presence calms his nerves.

Iguro Obanai

- Does not feel comfortable sleeping together for a long time. Mostly because he doesn’t like showing off his scars. But does eventually warm up to it. At the beginning he keeps his mouth covered however he relents once you’ve seen him and feels comfortable around you

- Likes to hold you while sleeping. You make him feel safe and relaxed, so whether it’s full on spooning or even just holding your hand, he’s touching you. I feel like Obanai would be the type of guy to want to face you while sleeping

- Wears simple clothes to bed, rarely sleeps shirtless. Except for the high heat of the summer he’s going to bed fully clothed. Does enjoy the occasional skin on skin cuddling when he’s in the mood

- A silent sleeper. Obanai makes almost no noise when he sleeps. Sometimes you have watch the rise and fall of his chest just make sure he’s still breathing because he’s so quiet

It’s incredibly late when Obanai finally makes his way home, his mission lasting longer than he planned too. He silently puts his things away before slipping into the bedroom. There he finds you sprawled out on the bed, your head on his pillow. You always did this when he was away, wanting his scent to help keep you calm and relaxed. Obanai pulls back the covers carefully, not wanting to disturb you before sliding onto the bed. He expertly moves you back to your side of the bed before his arm snakes around your waist. He rests his chin on the top of your head after a quick kiss to your temple, falling asleep moments later. When you wake up hours later you find your face not on his pillow, but against the familiar grey shirt he usually wears to bed. Relief fills your body and you snuggle closer to Obanai, not wanting to start your day just yet.

Gyomei Himejima

- sleeps in the same room as you, but because of his size you guys don’t often sleep right next to each other necessarily. It’s not that he doesn’t like being close to you, but he doesn’t want to accidentally crush you in his sleep

- Similar to Rengoku, Gyomei is a heavy snorer, another reason why you two don’t necessarily sleep together. When you do sleep next to him it’s usually because you miss each other, he’s been gone a long time, or one of you has been injured, etc

- Gyomei sleeps shirtless in simple pants. He wears the same thing to bed every single night, the season and weather don’t affect this. For some reason I only see him using blankets in the dead cold of winter. Other than that he’s just sleeping on his futon

- When you do sleep together you are definitely little spoon. He likes to rest his hand on your stomach keeping you secure against him. Occasionally likes to have you rest on his chest, but that’s mainly during short periods like naps

“What is it love”, Gyomei asks quietly, sleep still heavy in his voice. You had been trying to lay next to him without disturbing his sleep, but in some ways you knew that was a futile effort. He could often sense your presence anywhere. “Sorry, I just..well I wanted to be next to you”, you tell him honestly. With a small grunt Gyomei moves over, making a small spot for you to lay down next to him. As soon as you’re curled up against his chest, his large hand comes to gently hold you against him, providing enough warmth for you to forgo any blanket. “Is this ok?”, Gyomei asks once you’re fully settled against him. “It’s perfect, thank you”, you tell him sleepily. “Good night little one”, he tells you before peaceful snores fill the air.
