#demon dog

“y/n..? i’m home.” megumi muttered, quietly making his way over to you, resting a soft hand on your shoulder when he saw how in pain you looked.

“hey gumi.” you whisper back, the tiredness in your voice bleeding out, unable to hide.

he makes his way to your side, pulling you into his lap once he’s sat down.

“do you need anything? want to watch a movie?” he asks, already grabbing the remote.

“yes please.” and he picks your favorite one, knowing there’s nothing you’d want more than him, and something to take your mind off the cramps.

a few minutes later, megumi summons the divine dogs, and they immediately cuddle up next to you.  you were already falling asleep, but that just made the sleep hit even harder.

with your heating pad on, two dogs by your lap, and your husband holding onto you, sleep came quicker than the cramps, and you fell into a deep, warm rest.

SCENARIO 2: the spoiled baby

synopsis: megumi spoils your kid more than he does you!

you and your husband had the day off today, and while you caught up on cleaning, he decided to bail and take your daughter out.

you’d been getting bank notifications constantly, but it was never anything too expensive. she’s only about 4, anyways.

with your mind so focused on chores though, it hadn’t even crossed your mind how all of it would add up.

they came home about three hours later, anything but empty-handed.

megumi was holding two medium-sized bags in each hand, and your daughter held one small one.

“mommy!! daddy got me hair chalk!” she says with excitement, giving you a big hug.

“looks like he got you a lot more than just hair chalk, baby..” you respond, only to excite her more.

“yeah! he also got me-” she blathers on while megumi organizes it all in her room, but only to get away from you scolding him.

you can’t stay mad at him though, not when your daughters so happy. matter of fact, did you even get mad in the first place? (probably not!)

“i just didn’t know she’d end up wanting so much, and there was a sale..” he defends, trying to dodge what he thought was anger from you.

“gumi, i really don’t mind. im just happy she’s happy… i do wish you’d spoil me like that though.” you say with an exaggerated sigh, resting your chin on your hand.

“oh, i thought you’d be mad,” he says with relief, before continuing, “i’d be happy to that too, by the way.”

SCENARIO 3: her first playdate!

synopsis: you always thought megumi didn’t really like kids, until your daughter had her first friend over. (feat. queen nobara （╹◡╹）)

she’d met this other girl at the playground, and asked to have her over. after getting into contact with her mom, and finding out you, her, and megumi went to high school together, your daughters wish finally came true!

“mommy! mommy! she’s here!” the child squeals, waiting at the door restlessly. you open the door to see nobara kugisaki standing there with her daughter.

“hey! welcome in!” you say with a smile, opening the door all the way for them.

everyone had settled in the living room, and even megumi had come over and sat with you.

at one point, you were lost in conversation with kugisaki, catching up on probably 5 or so years, only half paying attention to the kids. 

when you glance over though, it takes a double take for you to process the scene.

megumi’s sitting next to both the girls, the three of them playing dolls.

he had a girl doll with a big pink dress, the look on his face seeming quite annoyed, but he continued to play.

even kugisaki stopped for a second, struggling to think about how someone so dark and scary all throughout high school was now.. playing barbie dolls with two little girls.

SCENARIO 4: your daughter’s technique development!

synopsis: how you and megumi’s child discovered her cursed technique.

it was a regular saturday, about three months after your daughters fifth birthday. she was eating lunch on the living room floor, watching some random cartoon. you and megumi sat on the couch, cuddling and talking about whatever came to mind.

your daughter suddenly started bursting out in laughter, and the books on the tv stand began to crumble.

“megumi, what the hell was that?!” you practically yelped, sitting up as quick as possible.

“was that our daughter?!” he said, almost as confused as you were.

she just sat there though, staring at you like she just witnessed a horror scene.

yet, she’s the one who caused it.. unintentionally.

“baby, did you just crumble those books?” you ask, trying to keep calm.

“i…. i didn’t mean to mama!” she begins to tear up, horrified of how you might react.

megumi was already calling gojo though, and he appeared in a flash.

after some inspection, it was confirmed. your daughter’s officially a curse user.

SCENARIO 5: divine dogs

synopsis: your daughter sees megumi’s divine dogs for the first time.

you were sitting with your daughter in the living room, megumi by your side watching. she was drawing in a school notebook, practicing her abc’s and counting.

“i wonder what’d she’d think of my dogs.” megumi says, watching her as she continues writing.

“do you think she’d even see them?” you respond, thinking of the scene in your head.

“she’s already developed a technique, so yeah.”

“try it then!” you said, now getting excited.

it took her a second to understand what megumi was talking about, but after a bit, she nodded. in her head though, it was just “dads gonna make dogs come and i get to see them”.

he brought them out, and your daughter immediately started beaming with joy. she pet them, played with them, and even rode on both of them. she claimed it was the-

“best day ever!” she giggles as the dogs continue to love on her.

it’s only then when megumi realizes.. she’s probably gonna want to be with them all day. maybe this wasn’t the best choice. 

but at least she’s happy.
