i really love how starting to listen to a ton of ethel cain and leonard cohen and elias hix and bob dylan and more lana del rey somehow made me adore living in a dry, very sparsely populated country... like i longed for forests and moss and dampness for YEARS of my life and now i see a vast, seemingly unending desert populated by yellow grass and a few shrubs and go "wow omg so dust bowl coded" or "alright am i in one more cup of coffee rn or what" or "stop this is so dress rehearsal rag!"
