Where we could finally get some fucking information about what he actually did during his uni years and how Azazel was (from the lips of the demon himself) manipulating his life? That could be so good lmao. One of the most frustrating things about Supernatural is that we know literally nothing about what was a very important time in Sam’s life except what Demon!Brady and Azazel tell us. Sam mentions having had a group of friends (Lil’ Becky from the shapeshifter episode in season 1 is almost the only person we ever actually meet) and he definitely worked his ass off to stay at uni and away from John … we assume. I would love to see how Azazel (my favourite big bad villain ngl) played fairy godmother for Sam to help make his dreams come true knowing all the time he was going to fuck him over. This is a great horror premise as well. I’d love to see a Sam who ignores Dean’s calls because THAT alone must have been an enormous undertaking for him. I’m open to seeing more of Jess than her wearing a Smurfs shirt and illuminating on the ceiling. I’d love to see more of her personality … or any of her personality tbf. I would love to see Sam’s struggles as a uni student balanced with the “good luck” Azazel gifts him while filling his entire life with demons. What a premise! That Kripke never actually fucking explored lmao.
