The meaning of [Hyperlink Blocked]
Spoiler warning for Deltarune Chapter 2, notably the secret boss of Pacifist and the alternate route.
Spamton G. Spamton has a lot of hilarious, iconic lines. His comments on Mike, his calls for freedom, turning his hands into phones, and of course...
However, there's lore packed into the rest of those things. Maybe [Hyperlink Blocked] is just a funny gag... but what if it's not? I think there's something more here. I think he's trying to say something.
Most of the time, when he says [Hyperlink Blocked], it's to obscure some important detail, usually for comedic effect. So if we can find something important, something that fits even a little bit into the context of [Hyperlink Blocked], we may be able to figure out what it means. It has to be something he likes saying a lot, because he also ways [Hyperlink Blocked]. And if it's something he's blocked from saying, is there any point that he'd be strong enough to break that block?
Yes. His pacifist fight. Take a look at this, his dialogue before the fight begins.
Heaven.
That seems like an important detail that would usually be obscured for comedic effect. "STAND UP WITH OUR HEADS IN THE CLOUDS AND LOOK INTO [Hyperlink Blocked]." But it's unobscured. He says it no problem.
Furthermore, says this word a lot during this part. Here's another line directly before it.
Here's a line during the battle.
Here's a line from when you finish the battle through mercy
He really likes this word. He says it every chance he gets... almost as much as he says [Hyperlink Blocked].
There are two reasons I think [Heaven] and [Hyperlink Blocked] are connected. The first is that this is the only area in the game where Spamton says [Heaven]. In addition, he doesn't say [Hyperlink Blocked] a single time throughout his Pacifist fight. Could be a coincidence and not correlation, but it's a start.
For the second reason... let's insert "[Heaven]" in place of "[Hyperlink Blocked]" a few times and see if it makes any sense. (Not posting as screenshots to avoid hitting the image limit.)
THAT'S RIGHT!! NOW'S YOUR CHANCE TO BE A [[BIG SHOT]]!! AND I HAVE JUST. THE THING. YOU NEED. THAT'S [[Heaven]].
YOU WANT IT. YOU WANT [[Heaven]], DON'T YOU.
Alright, it kinda makes sense. Given Spamton's obsession with Heaven, I could imagine him thinking everyone wants it.
I WAS ONLY EVER IN IT FOR THE [Freedom.] TO MAKE YOUR OWN DEALS. TO CALL YOUR OWN SHOTS. AND SOMETIMES IN THE MORNING, A LITTLE... [Heaven.] SOUNDS GOOD. DOESN;T IT?KID?
"Heaven in the morning" makes less sense, but hey, not everything he says needs to make sense. Just the important bits.
WHAT!?!? YOU DON'T NEED IT!?!? THAT'S A REAL BIGSHOT MOVE KID!!! YOU'RE LIKE ME... [Desperate] BUT WE KNOW WHAT WE WANT, DON'T WE!? W1LD PRIZES, HOTSINGLE, 100 CUSTOMER, AND MOST OF ALL... [Heaven.] WILL YOU TAKE THE FINAL DEAL!?
Same as before. If it's what he wants most, he probably thinks everyone else wants it.
...I'll stop dancing around it. There's one line in particular that stands out to me, and if we insert Heaven into that, things might just click into place.
His battle in Snowgrave.
(No, I don't know why he said Hochi Mama either, but he definitely means Noelle. No other character would make sense in this context.)
"YOU'VE BEEN MAKING [Heaven]! AND NOW THAT YOU HAVE YOUR OWN SUPPLY, YOU DON'T NEED ME!"
In a vacuum, this doesn't make much sense. Heaven isn't exactly a thing that can be made. However, in the context of Deltarune, Heaven has previously been referred to as something that can belong to someone. Ralsei's legend mentions "banishing the Angel's Heaven."
But, this can't make sense, can it? That would imply Kris and Noelle are the angels, and they haven't been referred to like that anywhere else, right?
But they have been. Earlier in Snowgrave. By Spamton. When you approach his dumpster to buy the ThornRing after killing every enemy, this is how he greets Kris and Noelle.
Two Angels, making Heaven.
This may be the meaning of [Hyperlink Blocked]... and if it is, the effects of Snowgrave may have dire implications regarding Ralsei's legend.
When you're just so smart.
Drew Ralsei and Noelle
(made Ralsei a little to smoll maybe)

It was... 🥺
So the average Russian lifespan is 72 years and Vlad is 69 year old right now. And Deltarune is predicted to fully come out around 3-6 years.
Imagine if Vladimir Putin dies when Deltarune finally comes out.
Sans is taking heavy fire here!
