Beach City has no police
Beach City is a really small town so we basically get to meet everyone who lives there and we never see a cop.
There was that one time Pearl got chased by the police but that wasnāt even in Beach City that was on a road driving out of town.
Also, when Mr. Smiley was having trouble with someone breaking into his amusement park he had to get help from someone out of town (Connieās dad) If there were cops in Beach City wouldnāt he have just hired them?
Also Connieās dad technically isnāt even a cop heās a āprivate security guardā.
Iām thinking sense in the Delmarvaverse the human population is smaller maybe they barely have a need for cops. Especially bc Beach City is such a small town. The crime rate is probably hella low.
