This skillet pizza is a delicious mix of classic chicken potpie and pizza. It has soft chicken, mixed vegetables, creamy sauce, and gooey cheese on top of a crispy crust.
Ingredients: 1 store-bought pizza dough. 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded. 1 cup mixed frozen vegetables, thawed. 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1/2 cup chicken broth. 1/4 cup heavy cream. 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour. 1 tablespoon butter. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 425F 220C. Melt the butter in a pan over medium-low heat. Add the flour and cook for one minute. So that it's smooth, slowly whisk in the chicken broth. Salt and pepper should be added along with heavy cream. Cook until it gets thick. Spread out the pizza dough and press it up the sides of the pan. On top of the dough, spread out the chicken and mixed vegetables. Cover the chicken and vegetables with the creamy sauce. Add shredded cheddar cheese on top. It should be baked in a hot oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly. Cut it up and serve it hot.
