it's funny how someone can't talk about delena's flaws so every de shipper replies: omgg stelena is over get over it bamon is never gonna happen, like if that changed how delena sucks and is one not earned endgame. sometimes i think you all dont care about flaws, just ship the couple of the moment. who cares if elena said damon was one monster because he murdered her brother because MAKES SO MUCH SENSE that she fell in love with him because he gave a necklace? they had sex so doesn't matter šš
I have a few things to say to this and itās going to be brutal. Sorry, I told you I would be. You asked for itā¦
1) You may talk about what YOU think Delenaās flaws are all you want, however when you bring it (anonymously might I add) into MY DELENA BLOG, you are going to get shut down. You may think your opinion on Delena is right, however I think it is wrong, rude, and irrelevant. So if you ask ME about your opinion, like you are now, I will respond how I feel about it. Donāt expect me to agree with you.
2) Thatās not all I reply, or we as Delena shippers reply. That is one thing I respond with because yes, Stelena is over and Bamon never happened and is never going to happen. So I donāt see why the point you are arguing is relevant when there is nothing for YOU to win. Please stop.
3) Fuck. If Delena sucked why would the writers of TVD be keeping it alive? They think itās a beautiful story, we think itās a beautiful story. The only people that donāt think it is, is you salty BD and SE shippers (and donāt say anything to that because you know itās true). DE is the most deserving of an endgame out of all the ships still on the show and that have ever been on the show. Their love story started in season one and never ended.Ā
4) We do see the flaws and accept them. We know Damon had a rough past and killed Jeremy and shoved blood in Elenaās mouth (to save her) and killed heaps of people, etc. We know Elena was sired to him (she couldnāt be sired to him if she didnāt feel anything towards him in the first place). We know. But we also know there was a lot of motive and reason behind why Damon was so reckless. We know it doesnāt make it okay, but we also know the amount of hurt that that man had been through made him do those things. And whatās beautiful is that Elena saw the better side in him. She saw the good and brought it out. Why their love story is so amazing, is because ELENA CHANGED HIM with love (the thing he gave, but was never returned) and DAMON CHANGED HER TOO. He changed her from being so uptight, he made her feel alive, he challenged her. Their journey from season one to now has made us love them. Please donāt come in MY BLOG with the āDelena is abusiveā bullshit you lay on us. Honestly.
5) Delena was and is not theĀ ācouple of the momentā. I, and I know most of my followers, have been shipping them since 1x02. At that time, Stelena was the ācouple of the momentā. Did we ship them? No. Get over yourself please .
6) We care that Elena said Damon was a monster because he murdered her brother. But she knew he had just Ā snapped. IDK if you forgot, but in that same episode Katherine (the one he waited 145 years for) said she only ever loved Stefan. Later, when he finally wasnāt so attached to Katherine, he realised how in love with Elena he was (because she was different, she cared and she showed him that), he went to her house and confronted her and she turned him down. He was acting on impulse. When Elena figured that out and Damon saved her life a few episodes later, she understood he needed to be forgiven. Doesnāt mean what he did was right, just means she moved past it. If you payed attention to the WHOLE SERIES, youād know Elena is the forgiving type. (Donāt fight me on this, what about all the shit Stefan did that she forgave?).Ā
7) She didnāt fall in love with him BECAUSE he gave her a necklace (that meant a lot to her and Stefan), she just realised she was in love with him in that moment. And youāre acting like there was no time gap between when he gave her that in 3x01 and 2x01 when he snapped Jeremyās neck. There was a whole season. He made it up to her AND JEREMY in that time and while Stefan was gone with Klaus, Damon looked after her and helped her look for Stefan. He was by her side. During that whole ONE SEASON GAP, she fell in love with him.Ā
8) IDK IF YOU KNOW THIS, BUT SEX IS AN ACT OF LOVE. And donāt come at me with this bullshit about āDamon had sex with many women before Elena and he didnāt love themā, because you know Damon had been in love with Elena for FOUR SEASONS before that, so when they did it, it was an act of love. And IDK if you actually watched that episode, but that was full on MAKING LOVE not emotionless sex. Elena was in love with him too (since she realised in 3x01, a season before this). And again, this was over a season after she realised she was in love with him and three and a half seasons after Damon was first in love with Elena so donāt use this as an excuse.
