like what jackles and the prequel seem to not understand or care about is that mary and john were forced together by god so that they could give birth to vessels. they were fucking trapped together and they were NOT good for one another. and i’m not one to give a fuck about the sanctity of the plot of the cw’s supernatural, but like. that’s kind of critical to telling a story about those characters pre-series. if that’s not how you handle it, it completely undoes the majority of supernatural’s overarching plot. like. what.

it doesnt matter but destiel is the only ship i know of whose canonization and subsequent fall out involved a fake italian dub, a mass hallucination of a wedding, one of the actors recording a tearful apology video ON THANKSGIVING, mysterious tapes that may or may not exist, multiple shot by shot analyses of the confession, and so many other bonkers occurrences. there are mysteries that may never be solved. can ur gay boys of the month do that. the answer is no.
