Currently obsessed with this long-ago Phoenix restaurant or something called “Joey’s Dinner Pail” that had an oversized dinner pail on the roof.
It was right next door to the Biltmore Cleaners & Dyers building.
The image is from the ASU Library’s Del Webb Corporation Photographs collection (MSS-279).
A brass sidewalk building marker for what was most likely the Pasadena Mutual Savings Building (the building is now demolished but the sidewalk marker is miraculously still there). The marker is done in the #ArtDeco style even though by 1964, the International Style & Mid-Century Modern were all the rage. THAT FONT, THOUGH !!!

Finished up a backsplash in the "Del Webb Bexley community in Land O Lakes, Florida yesterday. Tile is a 3x12 Canvas "La Belle Nimbus Fog" polished ceramic tile installed in a 3rd offset on the backsplash & wine bar area.
