Air Conditioning Works & Benefits
Air conditioning works by using a refrigerant, a substance that can absorb and release heat. The refrigerant is circulated through a closed loop of pipes, where it absorbs heat from the air inside the building and releases it outside. The process works as follows: The air conditioning system pulls in warm air from the room through a vent. The warm air is blown over a set of cold pipes that contain the refrigerant. As the air passes over the pipes, the refrigerant absorbs the heat from the air, cooling it down. The cooled air is then blown back into the room through another vent. The heat absorbed by the refrigerant is then released outside through a separate set of pipes. This process continues until the desired temperature is reached. In some systems, the air is also dehumidified, meaning that excess moisture is removed from the air.
