Ok so I saw DEH in Seattle today, and like WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT NOAH FRICKEN KIESSERMAN???? Like his voice and artistry were absolutely phenomenal and I wouldnât have wanted anyone else to have been my Evan. He might be an understudy, but that man deserves so much more recognition

7 Questions with DEAR EVAN HANSENâs National Tour Heidi HansenâJessica Phillips
A Mom onstage and off, Jessica Phillips has appeared on Broadway in shows including Next to Normal, Leap of Faith, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, and plays fan favorite ADA Pippa Cox on âLaw and Order: SVU.â But that only scratches the surfaceâread on and hear from Jessica in her own words.
1. Where did you grow up?
I was born in Nashville, TN, and lived there until I was 8, then moved with my family to central MA where I spent the second half of my childhood. So, I guess I'm sort of one part Grand Ole Opry, one part Green Monstah.
2. Whatâs your favorite line / lyric from Dear Evan Hansen?
Right now I've got an âAnybody Have A Map?â earworm! I'm Mom to two teenage sons, and "the scary truth is, I'm flying blind and I'm making this up as I go" could not be a more real statement for the majority of us who are raising humans.
3. What was the first show you saw (Broadway, Tour, etc)?
The first professional show I really remember seeing was a touring production of Peter Pan starring Cathy Rigby. I was utterly starstruck because I was a gymnast at the time. The experience was magical in part because Rigby made it look so effortless.
4. What are you currently binge-watching on Netflix right now?
Killing Eve, Handmaid's Tale, Jane The Virgin, Grace & Frankie (yes, yes, yes #womenintelevision).
5. Whatâs your favorite social media app? (and please list your social handles here)
Mostly an Insta girl these days. Instagram/Twitter: @fullipsonbway.
6. Whatâs your favorite song to sing in the shower?
Anything and everything Stevie Wonder.
7. Which city are you most excited about visiting on the road?
I think playing Boston might make me pee my pants. I'm an Emerson College graduate and the idea of returning to the very theatre district where I first found my stage legs is beyond thrilling.
