I am really enjoying looking around on Wplace. I think what I like most is how this might be one of the best ways to find extremely conceptually dense works of art. What I mean by that is when concepts collide with other concepts making new ones and splintering off becoming completely incomprehensible to the non initiated and downright baffling to those mildly familiar. A good example is the furry art based on the style of the lion king movies, but there is a black slime version of a lion covering the normal lion until it "possesses" it. To count the layers of concepts here you have an art style based off a disney film, furries, slime people fetish stuff, possession for the sake of a fetish, and it might be a stretch but a forced feminization fetish?... Another layer I think that counts is the clear years of practice that went into being able to create art that stylized. I mean fucking hell look at the lighting. And then to top all of this off it was converted into pixel art to put on a collaborative pixel art canvas of earth. In total that is 7 layers and probably more that I haven't thought of yet. I am definitely not a furry nor do I find this arousing. I just think fetish art might be one of the bleeding edges of the art world for mixing concepts together, which is HOW WE FUCKING GET NEWER AND COOLER ONES. Fetish art doesn't have to have mass appeal so it has much more freedom in what it is allowed to explore. I wish we could see more of this mentality in other forms of art and I believe we will. Please go check out wplace.live and do not fuck animals!
