@defierium has awakened the exile //
Riven, like everyone else in Ionia, was no stranger to the name Irelia. She was a living legend, not unlike the exile herself. She wondered what the famed Blade Dancer thought of her and her quest for atonement. Although the former Noxian had been living in the First Lands for some time now, not all of its citizens accepted her as one of them. Even if it was a known fact that she did not murder Elder Souma, she would always be an enemy to some because she had fought in the war.
No matter what she did, Riven would never be able to change the history that haunted her. She would always be judged for her past actions and allegiances, unable to escape her own reputation. But despite it all, Riven persevered and continued to search for her own path in life. Here, she was able to find a place to call home and people to call family, and those two things were all she ever wished for.
And yet, for some reason, the exile found herself wanting to be accepted by the woman hailed as a hero by the nation she now lived in. So when she saw the Defiant Blade dancing alone in a field near the farm, Riven approached her, making sure the other woman could see her coming.
“Hello,” she greeted, her accent pronounced. There’s a hesitant pause before she spoke again. “My name is Riven.”
