There is a dog on tiktok called, Boojeaux on @/dojeauxcreamgoldens, that is obsessed with chicks. Like every time they ask him if he wants to see the baby chickens he goes crazy, and when he does see them he is just so locked in on them, watching them. He's very gentle with the chicks and makes sure not to hurt or scare them. What I'm trying to say is that it reminds me a bit of Defensor
Defensor is kinda obsessed with humans, he always sees the good in them even when the bad is in front of his face. He really just wants to protect and watch over humans, and be friends with us. And it reminds me a lot about Boojeaux. Both are giants who are obsessed over beings who are smaller and more fragile than them, but who they would do anything to see. Even the wiki refers to Defensor as a dog, "He identifies with them the same way a sheep dog would with its flock or a puppy with its human owners."
That just gave me a sad thought about Defensor eventually being put down like an old/sick dog. I wonder if he would understand if humans were the ones to do that
