hello!! not my usual sort of post, but there's a topic i'm really interested in so i'm doing some research!!
in my life outside of tumblr, one of my hobbies is making zines on stigmatised topics in order to encourage conversation and reduce the amount of shame associated with talking about them. because there are people close to my heart with the issue, i wanted to make one about compulsive lying, but i couldn't find many sources that took an empathetic view towards people who experience it. for this reason, i wanted to ask people who have actually experienced it for their views, which i aim to use to write a full post about compulsive lying on my Substack (i'll post it here as well). there's more information about this in the description of my survey; if you experience compulsive lying and have a few minutes to fill it in, it's something i'd really appreciate!
