Found on the other side of the stranglevine field, no one remembers which of the Deeperstill sisters it belongs to, but different offerings of items you’ve collected can bring different blessings.

The Deeperstill Sisters – Final Bosses
Residents of Deeperville rarely glimpse these two gigantic creatures who are said to watch over their peculiar town, leading many to believe that perhaps they’re just myths. Malus is said to be the bringer of flame and the white stranglevines that always threaten to overtake the town. Curae instead brings good fortune and peace.
The player encounters one or the other as the final boss of the game depending on what choices they’ve made along the way. Malus belongs to the “bad ending” and Curae to the good. Each has a different fighting style and possible ending choices that defeating them makes available to the player.
Sam Hill Salmons
When the river dried up years back the aquatic residents had no choice but to crawl out and make the best of a bad situation. Now the salmons nest in the stranglevine that grows on Sam Hill. They are notoriously irritable, presumably because of thier prickly home situation.
If only there was some way to bring the river back...

I had a dream last night where I was in/playing an RPG pixel art game like Undertale, and in it I met Lucy. She was such a vividly complete character that as soon as I woke up I had to bring her to life, and now here she is in a full conversation for you all to meet as well. I’ve never had a character claw their way into reality from the dreamscape so aggressively before, she is very friendly and very powerful.
