I never say I "lose" my hyperfixations? They kinda just get suuuuuper quiet for a while—some more than most—but it's always like- like ok how do I put this- 2020. Hollow Knight I get aallll up and down and around and all over that shi. It's the brightest fuckin' highlight of my brain from early 2020 to mid 2022, though it probably shared that with a twinge of Animal Jam nostalgia and an introductory surge of Among Us when that first got popular? Holy shit I was better at that game back then uh before Hollow Knight? I thiiiiink some estimate of chronological interests up to that point werrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrre Chao, Kirby, Animal Jam, Roblox/dragons (WoF included under "dragons"), Yo-Kai Watch, Kirby, Undertale, Kirby? D&D and Pokémon somewhere? And I've accumulated this like- bowl full of interests that keep sifting around and burying each other and bubbling back up and it is *quite* a tumultuous bowl. More recent additions to this bowl have been stuff like Rain World orrrrrrrrrrrrrr (cut me some slack- I'm bad about recalling every element of a list-) uhhhhhhhhh *remembers they don't all have to be video games* nature photography or Project Hail mary??? But there is one, that was sort of a thing back in 2017, cameo'd as part of a joke in 2020, and hit me full force with the weight of a thousand black holes in late July of 2022, which I put on FUUULLLL display on TWOOOOOOOO of my blogs (@mc-worlds-deedee): the Wither Storm that motherfucker and Hollow Knight and I'd wager even Kirby are the ones that sleep the lightest And the rest sleep sort of deeper and awaken with considerably less yet still substantial force for like half a week straight and then they calm down again and I enter a period of Tired Boredom and I'm ngl I kinda just go with the flow here and let them all come and go
undiagnosed btw
Do you ever go exploring the Portal Network and find a world that Repeats Parts of Itself. Yeah there's a repeated ravine there. I call it the Maw of Hell.
Can I grrrrab the word "imagineer' and detach it from Disney or whatever it's stuck to. Pretty please.
I feel like my mind is like the weather surrounding two, maybe three pillars each of my interests/hobbies/things I need to do is like rain and wind and clear and then there are the pillars aka my biggest/longest-standing hyperfixations these being Hollow Knight, the Wither Storm, and maybe Kirby

oh yeah @ddbubbles-g-o-i-creative-corner exists now it ain't much yet but I try
ok for some reason I can't-- put up a blog background?????? Like I tried with two different yet similar images so far and both of them just made the entire tab's screen darker as if something was failing to load and Idk how long I wanna wait for that thing (whatever it is) to load! So I'm just gonna show it here
there took me like 16 minutes according to ibispaint but I do not believe that in the slightest- plap
Ideas, #1
To start things off, I shall open with the following cuz it's been on my mind: YOU! you have OCs, right? Gather a group of 'em with you (or a designated DMing OC) to a table and start playing D&D! (or another ttrpg of your choosing!) ...with yourself, technically; I suppose putting it that way makes it sounds incredibly lonely. BUT!!! Iiiiii think it might be a good opportunity---even if you only really do the character creation phase---to see how those characters interact with each other in such a setting, and how they think creatively... or how creatively they think. It could lead to a lot of things! Do they themselves roleplay surprisingly well? Do they end up murderhoboing or derailing the session? Do they make the goofiest out-of-left-field combination that somehow works? Is their understanding of good, evil, law, and chaos different from a human's enough that they would be confused by those parts of the game? How do the discussions and conversations go in the character creation process and onward? How do their characters and their way of narrating them reflect how they themselves think? How many layers of pretend are you going to dive into? I think this could even help you yourself get a feeling/prepare for how both playing and DMing works, if you someday desire to play a game with real people.
Below the cut's my own results so far, I suppose
