I already have very little respect for people stoking an imaginary Dontnod vs. Deck Nine pissing contest, acting as if the American teenaged minority experience can only truly be expressed by white Frenchmen in their 50s.
However, I have even less respect for those of you attempting to drag Michel Koch into it. If he has any class at all as an artist, he'd have no part of it, recognizing that other creatives are going to have their own interpretive visions of his work and that that's okay, even necessary to the collaborative and expansive nature of art and storytelling. Everyone trying to drag him down to their level is an embarrassment to the fandom and I sincerely hope that you all grow the fuck up someday.

Yeah Deck Nine are trying a little too hard with their inclusiveness. They're clumsy about it and sometimes it feels like they're going down a checklist of "who can we feel seen this week".
But I still prefer that over Dontnod who are suspiciously weird about teenagers in all their games.

I hate how people say Life is Strange: Reunion was well written. Objectively, the game is badly written. I love Pricefield fan service as much as the next guy but that doesn't erase the fact that Max and Chloe's story was not meant to continue after the first game. Combining both endings to make Reunion work completely erases the message of the first game that your actions are meant to have consequences. Its a badly written game and the fan service cannot make up for that. I dislike all of the DeckNine games because of how badly written they are, DontNod come back the kids miss you🥀
