"Fascinating! Is this how all clothing is created?" He leans in closer, ears perked.
"What will it be? How long will it take to finish an entire piece?"

"do keep playing, won't you?" spoken as a softened plea, a gentle wave of clicks accompanying their request -- like a purr, to persuade. their tail creaks as it relaxes behind them, granting a sense of ease in the scorpions slow approach.
"i don't get to listen to such an instrument often enough," they add, clawed fingertips finding placement against the musician's arm, tip-toeing their way along the length of it. up, up -- until a shoulder is reached, their palm laid to rest over it. then, another comes to join it, creating a welcomed cushion for their chin to perch.
"--and you play it so well! you must gain quite the audience with your music, hmm?" another low series of clicks; echoing behind a jagged-toothed smile.

He's more inclined than usual to bother this particular person when he spots them. They'd chatted a little bit at that fancy ball a few days prior, and heโd been fine enough company then. Not enough to make the cut for Henchmaniac material, but entertaining enough to kill time. Hence, he has little issue approaching from behind while the other strums his lute.

well, talk about a shitty situation to find yourself in less than a week since being kidnapped and dropped into some strange city on god knows what world in what system. given Shepard's track record though, this is par for the course. really, she's not so much surprised as she is annoyed. is her luck really that atrocious? or is it just fate that not matter the place, regardless of the reason, things are destined to ruin any plans she had in place?
Shepard didn't want to fight. no, all she wanted was some coffee -- as strong as humanely possible -- and a quiet place to figure out her situation. but not everyone was a morning person and some were quick to take that out on others. next thing she knows, her coffee is spilled all over the feet of some poor bystander as the loudmouth ends up on the ground, groaning between curses.
she straightens, turning to glance at the one with no doubt wet shoes now. "...Would you believe me if I said he fell on his ass of his own free will?"
