Yes, Jesus says to love your neighbor. What most people glaze over, because they don't actually read the Bible, is that Jesus DOESN'T say to love your neighbor and accept all their sins. God loves us, but He is loving AND just, and His laws all over the Scriptures clearly forbid homosexuality. It's not about what it harms or doesn't harm, it's about what God said.

When the Pharisees dragged a woman caught in adultery to Jesus and questioned if they should stone her, Jesus told them "Whoever of you hasn't sinned, throw the first stone at her." They were convicted, and all left the scene because they knew they were all guilty of their own sins, too. Jesus told the woman that He did not condemn her, then said, "Go and sin no more." He didn't say what she did was okay and that no one should judge her. He forgave her, but encouraged her to move on from her sin instead of making it her life.

As a matter of fact, EVERYONE has a say whether they are a part of the LGBT community. They make choices. They choose to act on immoral feelings. They choose to force their body to align with their mind instead of the other way around. Having feelings doesn't automatically mean you have no choice but to act on them and make it your whole identity. No more than having desires to murder someone would be okay, or having desires to steal would be okay, etc. Sin is sin.

I know fellow Christians who have struggled with homosexual thoughts before, but at the end of the day, they chose their love for God over their fleshly, sinful desires. It's a simple truth: God designed marriage and romance to be between one man and one woman. Anything otherwise is sinful.

Please read the whole of the Bible itself before making assumptions on what it says. Love does not inherently mean support and acceptance. If I had a child and they were running towards the edge of a cliff, would it be loving if I let them keep doing what they were doing, letting them eventually die? No. I would catch them and bring them to safety. It would in fact be unloving to let them do what they want and hurt themselves because of it.

Accepting a trans identity is telling God He was wrong in making you the way He did. Living a homosexual life goes against His design for marriage. Again, it's not about whether it harms anyone. That's man's standard of right and wrong, not God's.

If you don't believe in God, none of my arguments will make any sense to you. Because you're right; without God, morality goes out the window. There's no obligation to live any specific way. Right and wrong don't exist. Feelings are nothing more than chemical reactions. Life has no real meaning.

Except, God does exist. He has revealed Himself through the Bible and His Son Jesus Christ when He came to earth 2,000 years ago. And absolutely nothing the world has to offer can compare with what He offers.

to call that cringe is a choice. not a good one, but a choice nonetheless.

in a sense i see what people mean, but i wouldn't say that i cringe at what he says because he's saying it

because the fact that people are assuming and labeling him is cringy.

the fact that he has to correct so many people elicits a feeling of second hand embarrassment in me because—in my personal experience—having to correct people like that feels embarrassing.

when its really, really not

like first of all, neither of them have ever mentioned their size difference, in a sexual way or otherwise. (at least in the show, not familiar w the comics)

Why don’t you believe in Christianity? Is it really because there’s not enough evidence, or is it because of an emotional/heart issue that needs dealing with?

Is it because you had a bad experience at a church that ripped your trust to shreds? Those churches were wrong and not rightly reflecting Christianity.

Is it because Christians don’t want to let you do exactly what you want? It’s a life or death issue according to us, so of course we care about it whether you agree or not, and we don’t want you to spend eternity in worse than death.
