Picked out a hat at the store today that I thought would be cute for my trip to Boston with @e_morris10 It’s almost time! Otherwise spending the day at the altar. Cemetery/death terrarium my sister and I worked on today. We collected slate and moss from a crumbling mausoleum, small plants from outside a beautiful grave plot, and ivy from trees in the graveyard. Of course we asked permission and left offering from any area that we disturbed. The photos in this series show the progression of the terrarium as we completed it. We started with stones, slate, and perlite for drainage then covered with fine mesh. Then we added soil (my sister made an ABG mix for this). On top of the soil we hardscaped using slate and rocks then laid on the moss, ivy, and plants. Finally we added quartz points and amethyst clusters and watered the whole thing with a mister. It will be placed in indirect light! Feel free to message me with any questions about this process. I’ll be using this as a charging station for amulets, talismans, crystals, spell jars, etc. and I’ll be using it as an altar for leaving offerings to the dead and to my gods. 💀 My sister's account is: @dogwood-witch
