Does this sound stupid? Yes because it is. Literally no one wants to hear this. My point in making this post is that I'm literally so tired of going to the Slade tags to see people repeating and saying the same bullshit.

Just like you wouldn´t want to hear these things about Batman and Deadpool we don't want to hear it either. I don't care if you don't like Deathstroke. Just because you are mad at him doesn't mean that he should be portrayed as a villain or as an abusive father.

I´m literally done with hearing this over and over again. The relationship was immoral and it shouldn´t have happened. But again Slade is a fictional character. And the situation was later retconned by Preist. I´m not excusing his behavior. It was not okay. Even so, getting mad at Slade a fictional character for something which happened over 40 years ago isn't going to help. Bringing it up over and over again is literally a waste of your time when the circumstances of the judas contract were at a time where Slade was not in a good place.

And people are probably going to get mad at me about this but I already said what I needed to say about this issue. I'm not condoning his behavior at all but what happened in the judas contract was something that was written in a time when it was okay. I see that itś a problem in real life but that does not mean he GOES after more teenagers. Terra was a one-time thing. Regardless of this doesn't mean that Slade should be marked as a pedophile. This relationship doesn't exist because it has been retconned.

Futhermore I'm tired of people saying ´this is how Deathstroke should be portrayed as a villain when Marv Wolfman specifically said he´s supposed to be an antihero. It's annoying and overdone. It needs to stop Slade is a fictional character who doesn't exist while these are huge problems in the real world.

The lovers tarot card with slade and Adeline.

I shall explain:

The lovers card in meaning refers to relationship, love, harmony, values, soul mates, partners, strong bonds, and it represents people who are made for each other. The person your soul knew before you were born into this incarnation.

And in my opinion that was in fact the true feelings between slade and Adeline. They loved each other greatly. Arguably even after the divorce slade still loves her. They were the twin flames. The perfect match. And they married - another meaning of the card if accompanied by hierophant or justice -

And are these not what broke them apart? From all the arguments, conflicts, not trusting each other, lying to each other, and even when slade did tell the truth it only resulted on more conflict.
