I want to be clear I love how on the nose they make him. Stick to the branding hard on that one. Probably still why it's my favorite version of him. Also? Music is perfect, no notes.

I love how they didn't really take notice of each other right away, but both Hikari and Tailmon instinctively turn around after passing each other and take notice when the other one does the same.

Tailmon trying so hard to look like a normal cat, except that it is obvious that she's bigger, her natural stance looks like it could be bipedal, she has large ears, and is wearing gloves. It makes me smile.

I adore that the first one to say Hikari is the eighth child with a degree of confidence (enough to stalk her home even without a reaction from the faux Crest she's carrying around) is Tailmon. Taichi does, but has some degree of denial going on and let the conversation drop naturally.

Then the problem with Tailmon becomes her failing to recognize what part of the equation she herself falls into 🙁.

Cool look, cool look. Very goes hard/super extra kind of way I expect from late 90s, which I love about early Digimon designs.

Liberator gave so much to Shellmon, Tyrannomon, Bakemon, and Frigimon so I wanted to suggest more old digimon that would benefit from getting new evolutions

Sorcerymon and Wizardmon are a package deal here. While Wizardmon gets a few potential options, they're not consistent and Sorcerymon has even less than that. Parallel digivolution lines would benefit them a lot

These 6 champions have existed for decades, but don't have anything unique to them. Flymon at least got to be a partner digimon in Survive, but I like Flymon's design enough that I wanna give it evolutions that retain it instead of slapping on existing digimon

I love these ultimates and think they could get really cool megas. I know Cherrymon is officially Puppetmon's ultimate, but I feel like he needs something that has an ancient sage warrior vibe. Keep the old wise angle. I like using Boltmon as DeathMeramon's mega in video games, but something to keep the fire would be best

These three probably seem like weird choices because they're all protagonist digimon, but I have reasons for picking them. Impmon got a new line that references Guilmon so I think it'd be very cool to see a Guilmon line that references Impmon.

Gabumon often feels like Agumon's sidekick to me. In Survive, Agumon gets this large evolution tree with 3 whole lines and Gabumon's just there as Omnimon fodder. Outside of Adventure and Cyber Sleuth, Gabumon feels overshadowed and a new line would give him some much deserved respect

I have a very specific problem with Palmon. Palmon is often pushed towards Rosemon, but unfortunately, Lalamon is also pushed to Rosemon and the problem with that is Lalamon gets the burst mode. It feels like Palmon both has to share her most consistent mega with another digimon and has the weaker version of it. BanchoLillymon's cool and I like her, but I can't shake this feeling that Palmon could really use something new

I have loved Mikemon for years and it pains me that it is the least used of the Gatomon variants. Gatomon speaks for herself, but BlackGatomon and Meicoomon both get to become iconic digimon, a Demon Lord and another ophan-level angel respectively. Mikemon is basically the stereotypical middle child here. The best they got is that specific card that paints it as a future Royal Knight (Duftmon)

You know prior to D-Power Version 3.0 establishing Meramon and SkullMeramon and post Xros Wars media establishing Wizardmon and Baalmon, I legitimately thought for the longest time that Boogiemon and Feresmon were the intermediate Stages between Impmon and Beelzemon in Tamers because both came around the same year as Impmon’s Baby Stages Keemon and Yaamon

Like Boogiemon is named for a creature used to frighten children into good behavior, which fits with Impmon’s initially strained relationship with his Tamers Ai and Mako, who are both little kids, while Feresmon is named for Mephistopheles, the demon most infamous for Faustian deals: exactly what Impmon entered into with the Devas to become Beelzemon
