reminds me of angel devil's power with how she managed to immediately get up by just siphoning his life

the differences here are that death instantly drained him but with angel it takes some time, angel can't control his powers but death can with her intentions, death can easily siphon other people's lives through cloth but that doesn't work with angel, and that the body of the person angel touches maintain their physical appearance but with death it doesn't work (and maybe you can count in the fact that angel's power is used to make weapons while death uses her powers to revive?)

also i joked on twt that you can techncically continue shipping deathband (death and the bandaid dude) if you just use the akiangel formula of "semi-immortal(?) devil and dude who loses their lives to them", and that's got me wondering how many similarities there are between the couples, like i'm thinking

a. death and angel are both devils with a twisted mindset and are typically uncooperative, and end up getting shunned in a way (with angel actively avoiding forming bonds with people and death just getting sent away because of her obsession with "saving them")

b. bandaid guy and aki are both men who go out of their way to interact with them, with aki forming a bond with angel at the later parts of part 1, and bandaid dude going outside to the yard to try and comfort death after she got sent away by the bully

c. death and angel hurt their partners, with death siphoning the dude's life to revive and angel siphoning aki's lifespan as a consequence for him holding the devil's hand

d. bandaid boy and aki end up dying because of the devils (death siphons his life, angel takes him to the beach to talk to makima)
