Draft #24 @isdapappy
Dear Noone
It used to bother me that pictures were rarely taken of me but I saw they were taken of everyone else.
I have always been one to take pictures of other people or things.
They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder and can be felt in the moment
If you have the eye for it you can see it in anything.
So I would snap a pic of what I thought art was.
A pretty face.
a butterfly.
the snow.
a leaf.
Everything.
But I always thought she was beautiful,
The mind has no limit in what it finds beautiful
One day I looked at all the pictures I had of other people and realized no one really had any pictures of me
I used to think that the lack of pictures taken of me meant lack of beauty in me.
Especially when the times I was told I was beautiful was when I was dressed how other people wanted
I began to feel like I was just another face
As if I am not a piece of art.
As if there is no art to be seen within me.
I know better and I know my worth even if she never saw it,
No longer heartbroken just taking less pics of others and taking more of myself while continuing to cultivate what I find beautiful about myself
No longer waiting around for someone else to tell me I'm beautiful I'll just look in the mirror from now on
