He removed the bag of frozen peas and examined the wound. The ankle was swollen, bruised. When he touched it gently, Castiel drew in a hissing breath.
βWell, itβs not broken, thank God, just sprained.β
βIβm sorry,β Castiel whispered.
βDonβt worry about it,β Dean began wrapping the bandages. βJust be more careful on the ice. Okay?β
βI promise.β Castiel closed his eyes wearily, βBeing human is harder than I thought. Itβ¦Β hurts.β
βYeah,β Dean sighed, βsometimes it does.β
