Alfred was out of town when the de-aging happened. You can imagine how well thatâs going.
Why is Jason replacing the Batmobileâs tires with bike tires?
Science.
Also annoying Bruce.

idiots who got deaged on patrol
bonus:
creatures
For some unknown reason, Steve had been de-aged and now a ten-year-old Steve was looking up at everyone with his big curious eyes and baby face and no one knew what to do.
A custody war immediately broke out between Robin and Eddie, both claiming that they could take good care of Steve and that the other shouldn't be trusted with a kid. The only reason Nancy and Jonathan didn't join the fistfight was because they already had their own younger siblings to worry about, but it didn't stop them from adding their opinions on who should take Steve in until he turned back to his big self.
Eventually, Steve was the one to put an end to the custody war by announcing that he wanted to be with his Bobbie and Teddy.
Dan is put into a clone body aged up to 12 years old, given to 25 year old Danny to raise from then on.
Dan mellowed out a bit with a human half once more balancing him, but heâs still feral and will bite if Danny doesnât notice the signs early enough.
Badabing badabum! Natural portal sucks Dan to Gotham, heâs not to worried while walking around homeless.
Danny is getting really worried while visiting different dimensions trying to find his son, thatâs his baby!
Dan is found by a bat, Iâm partial to Jason or Dick but feel free to chose any of them, who takes in this feral child.
So when Danny comes to the dimension with Dan in it, he looks maybe a bit harried and just falls to his knees while hugging his son, crying how he missed his baby!
âI was fine, look I even found a trusted adult and stayed with them how Jazz always says.â
Something something boom romance between Danny and whatever bat you chose, with a slice of childcare Dan getting a new childhood đ€
De aged Batman, still teen days training around the world, being a little feral brat
The thing is all his kids are so done with him, and the irony is that Bruce is just acting like them at some level, like same rebellion (kinda Dick but mostly Jason), same wariness like a feral animal (Cass and Tim), same recklessness and stubbornness, etc etc
At the beginning ofc it was fun, one friend more to hang out who is easy to be with and join their plans, but then the actual babysitting part started when things get a bit out of their hands and realize they do need limits and all the things they liked about
Bruce started to annoy them, always sneaking out at night, being sassy, they tried to have him join in patrol once and they keep suffering heart attacks when he disappeared and donât answer the comms, not treating and actually hiding his injuries
None of them realize he is just acting in a similar way than them till one day they reunite to complain and at some point they start repeating phrases Bruce had said at some point âhow can he be so reckless I just want the best to him and keep him safeâ and someone point it out and then they freeze at horror, they are just like their dad

ïœĄđŠč°⧠RICHARD GRAYSON
Itâs not difficult to know that something is wrong once you hear a crash somewhere in the manor, of something getting broken. Either glass or porcelain.
Bruce immediately gets out of his study to investigate, treading cautiously. How could the securities miss someone breaking in? Itâs either someone really skillful, with lots of experience, or someone who knows Bruce well⊠well enough to breach through all securities. His senses are on high alert, ready to take on any situation he will face.
Descanding down the stairs, he stalks towards the noise, hearing someone rummaging through what seems to be a drawer. Whoever that introder is, they searched the wrong house for expensive stuff.
Bruce stops near the room where the noises come from, stopping to try and take in the situation, peeking around the corner.
Unfortunately, he canât see anything but a broken vase, and an open drawer. What he didnât expect to hear, was a giggle. A bubbly, rich giggle that could only come from tiny human being.
He blinks. His brain short cirtuing for a split second.
»No, Dick, I donât think you should lick that toy from the groundâ «
Thereâs that voice he loves so much. Finally â after debating if this situation is even real and he didnât actually fall asleep on his desk â he steps inside. Eyes narrowed, brows pinched together; scanning the room.
There you sit with a toddler in your lap, on the floor. Some old toys are scattered around the ground, the broken vase out of reach for the two of you, but still there.
»Sweetheart?« He decides to speak up, taking a careful breath. You finally look up to meet Bruceâs more concerned gaze, trying to read your expression just as much. The toddler in your lap also perks up, a wide smile forming on his face before he tries to scramble off your lap and get to Bruce as fast as possible.
»Dada!« The way smaller human calls out, heading straight through the shattered vase towards Bruce. Before he could crawl over the sharp pieces, Bruce scoops the toddler up smoothly, craddling him to his chest. His helpless gaze finds yours again, asking for answers.
»Uh⊠this sounds crazy, but thatâs our Richard in your arms.« You finally explain the situation and stand off the ground, taking in the way the toddler clinges onto him like a leech.
A short huff leaves Bruce, stoic on the outside, but absolutely panicking on the inside. His eyes look back down on the toddler in his arms, a tight smile forming on his lips.
»Dick? Chum?« He speaks up more softly, with a tenderness that he only reserves for you, and still rarely shows. The toddler instantly reacts, head turning to his voice, eyes big and curious. So precious. Bruce physically needs to restraint himself from cooing at the sight of his son, now so small and innocent, in his arms. A small sigh escapes him anway.
You step closer to them, carefully avoiding the broken vase before you place your hand on his shoulder. He snaps out of his short trance and looks to you, shifting to face you better. Dick stays perched up on his hip and secure in his arms, tiny hand grabbing curiously at his jaw to get a better feel of him.
»I donât even want to fix this problem.« He tells you quietly before glancing back down at the babbling toddler, yapping away about something in baby-language. He nods along anyway, the faintest of smiles present on his face.
You wish you could take a photo of them right now, pretend that Dick isnât just trapped in a toddlerâs body, but you resist. This problem has to be fixed either way, but you can allow yourself a few more moments of amusement and joy with this version of Richard.
ïœĄđŠč°⧠JASON TODD
The manor is silent except for the faint hums around the hallways as you lounge in bed, waiting for Bruce, Richard, and Jason to return from patrol. You always tend to stay up late to greet them and make sure they are alright, even when Alfred is always there to patch them up on time.
Still, even tonight, no one prepared you for what you are greeted with.
The heavy double doors open smoothly, bringing in the biting air inside, before a rather loud and excited chatter starts to fill the tall ceilings of the massive house.
You get out of bed, following the endless chatter, that sounds awfully like Richard on sugar rush. Except, you know Bruce wouldnât allow them to have sweet snacks during patrols. You curiously follow along, eventually halting near the entrance once you see them.
Richard, excitedly jumping up repeadetly around Bruce, while he stands still, looking down at his arms. Then, your breath hitches.
A baby? Toddler?
Besides, whereâs Jason?
You step closer to them and catch Bruceâs gaze, even recognising the way it seems so much softer now, even through his cowl. Finally, Richard manages to reign himself once he notices you and stays standing close to Bruce, arms crossed, chin high.
»We have to take care of Jason, he is small now.«
He proudly announces, almost sounding protective of his now⊠way smaller brother. Your eyes snap back to Bruceâs, still a bit confused.
»He was deaged during a heist. Some magic users.« He briefly explains before tilting his head to look back at Jason, watching the way the toddler stays relaxed in his arms, eyes blinking tiredly.
It all clicks together. However, you are still unsure if you didnât actually just fell asleep on accident and are dreaming all this. A grumpy sound leaves the toddler as it snaps you back, alarming a deep maternal instinct you didnât think you had.
The other two perk up as well, a small gasp leaving from Richard as he gets on his tiptoes to peek into Bruceâs arms again. The sound forms into small sniffles, followed by the heaertbreaking sound of Jason sobbing. Oh, god, you could die.
Bruce stiffens and tries to figure out why the toddler is suddenly crying, but you are quicker to act. You scoop him up and start to rock him gently in your arms, while walking back into your shared bedroom with Bruce. The cries donât really seem to cease as you step into the bedroom, starting to figure out the problem.
Bruce has to stop Richard from following and "knowing how to fix it" since "Itâs my brother!", but he eventually relents. They stand by the bed as they watch how you and Alfred console the toddler by feeding it with a warm bottle of milk, and having him wrapped in a fuzzy blanket.
Itâs a sight too adorable for Bruce to take in, but he wonât ever admit it.
Sure enough, the toddler falls asleep in your arms a while later, Alfred having left to give you more privacy, and Richard sitting beside you to watch his baby brother sleep peacefully. Bruce exhales softly after a moment, ushering Richard to get out of his Robin costume and get ready for bed. After a grueling and more exhausting moments, he gets him to bed and returns to you.
You stay leaned back against the bedframe, eyes closed and resting with Jason in your arms. He silently climbs into bed with you, just taking in the way his chest tightens at the sight, before he wraps his arm around your shoulder. He makes you rest your head on him, letting you sleep peacefully while he watches over you two for the night.
The reverse could wait.

Batfam incorrect quotes because I like to:
The Z team are fighting a villain with time manipulation powers and he uses that to de-age the group before running away. Until the effects are reversed or they catch the villain, someone needs to take care of the group of confused, superpowered children who have no memories of their adult life. Of course, Blazer is too busy trying to find the person responsible and Chase might break a hip trying to chase after them so babysitting duty falls squarely on Robert's shoulders. Robert is okay with kids. But now he has 10 kids to keep track of and make sure they don't hurt themselves or random civilians.
Out of all the kids, Golem is the quietest. He's a small mound of mud and clay vaguely in the shape of a child. He barely speaks but can be seen watching everything with wide eyes. Robert has to keep him from eating random trash he finds on the side walk.
Punch Up is hard to understand. Both because he talks incredibly fast and because his accent is incredibly thick. Robert doesn't understand half the words he says but at least he doesn't have super strength yet so Robert's balls get to live.
CoupĂ© is quiet. But not in a wide-eyed awe like Golem. She's analytic, on edge at all times and her English is broken, speaking mostly French. She doesnât trust Robert at first but when he buys her the ballerina Barbie he sees her staring at, she softens up. If anyone even looks at Robert wrong, she's more than happy to throw a knife at them.
Invisigal is surprisingly clingy. As in, she will not leave his side. She still curses. A lot. She's almost definitely not a good influence on the other kids but she'll listen to Robert.
The same cannot be said for Flambae. Flambae is a little asshole who refuses to do anything people tell him. Especially Robert. He's also tried to run away enough times that Robert has invested in a fireproof child leash.
Prism is the first to tell him, "You're not my dad, you can't tell me what to do." She partners with Flambae to pull pranks on their temporary caretaker. She decided to go easier on Robert when he bought her a pair of light-up sneakers.
Malevola can open portals to anywhere she can imagine. She doesn't try to run away. Oh no, she likes to randomly jump scare Robert at any given moment. She also hasn't quite grown into her horns yet and as a safety measure, Robert has given her squishy poms poms to cover the points.
Sonar was a dinosaur kid. He can and will talk the ear off of anyone who sticks around long enough to listen to his dinosaur facts. Robert nods along as Sonar tells all about the brontosaurus's plant-based diet. He needs special earmuffs to help block out all the excess noise around him.
Phenomaman is incredibly small and slightly green. Something completely normal for his species apparently. He's surprised that the other kids actually talk to him and think it's cool that he can fly.
Waterboy was a crybaby as a kid. And when you can cry literal buckets of water, that can be a problem. He responds well to constant reassurance and praise from Robert. Something he never really gets from anyone else in his life.
Robert didn't get a lot of sleep before. Now? Sleep is dead. Coffee is his God. And he needs more fruit snacks to bribe the kids with. At least they all like Beef.
