"Whispers in the Shadows: A Dead Stars Adaptation"

Dead Stars, a story where love doesn't have to be in a right side, there's always forbidden love, a love that go beyond through tradition, a love that goes against the world, and against the people.

We, group 2, decided to choose this story and create an adaptation in poetry, hypertext poetry to be specific. We decided to adapt "Dead Stars" because it has rich themes and elements that are open to imaginative interpretation. The narrative explores themes of love, longing, and time passing; these themes lend themselves well to various interpretations using the poetry.

"Dead Stars" is a literary work because of its sensitive examination of human emotions, especially love and regret. The story, which is full of imagery and symbolism, gives readers an understanding of the difficulties in forming relationships and the certainty of change. The prose of Marquez Benitez is expressive and rich, adding to the text's literary value.

Hypertext poetry was carefully chosen as the creative adaptation for "Dead Stars" in order to provide an immersive and nonlinear exploration of the themes and narrative complexities found in the original work. With its dynamic and interactive qualities, hypertext poetry offers a modern platform that speaks to the complexity of "Dead Stars." By adopting this format, we aimed to replicate the fragmented feelings and multi-layered narrative of the original work, letting readers move through different paths and viewpoints. This method allows us to retell the story in creative ways by encouraging experimentation with form and structure in addition to facilitating a deeper engagement with the text. Hypertext poetry embodies the fluidity and ambiguity present in "Dead Stars," inviting readers to construct their own narratives and explore diverse interpretations. Ultimately, our adaptation aims to revitalize the timeless themes of love, longing, and the passage of time, fostering a deeper appreciation for literature in the digital age through a dynamic and participatory reading experience. The incorporation of hyperlinks, multimedia elements, and interactive features gives the adaptation additional layers of meaning and interpretation, enriching the reader's experience.

Deviations from the original text may occur in the form of restructuring the narrative to fit the hypertext format, as well as incorporating multimedia elements such as audio, visual, and interactive components. These changes are made to enhance the adaptation's engagement with the audience and to explore new ways of interpreting the themes of "Dead Stars."

Students will learn to value literature by engaging with it in a dynamic, interactive format that promotes investigation and interpretation thanks to our imaginative adaptation. Through active engagement with the text, the hypertext poetry adaptation of "Dead Stars" encourages critical thinking and a deeper comprehension of the text's themes and literary devices. Multimedia elements are also added to the adaptation to improve accessibility and appeal to modern audiences, which helps modern readers relate to and understand literature on a deeper level.
