Chim has a fantastic memory which in itself is a bless and curse because he can remember everything. Every nightmare, so vividly he can feel the void beasts hands constrict around him, smothering him. Every injury he’s ever suffered, every bone broken and set back into place. Every gushing laceration and bruise.. He even remembers the day he emerged from his host.

Sitting in his Host’s mind. Dredging up the power and severing the ties that held him in. Waiting,like a evil mastermind with his hand hovering over the detonation button. Waiting to slither his way through out his Host’s body like black ink in pure water. To purge himself and become his own. He sat patience, calculating: Listening to his Host’s resentments and indignation. Hearing the sickening wheeze of tired lungs with every angry sigh and groan. Watching the screen of begotten and superficial work through bloodshot, glazed over eyes... Everything was perfect.

His Host had been sick for what seemed like weeks. It went from a simple chest cold to something more insidious, smothering ;painful. He was wracked with a painful cough and dizzy spells but he refused to stop his work and rest, siting “If I stop, they wont leave me alone. They wont let me rest. Their incessant need will be the end of me... But I cant stop now... Have to make them happy, right? Always happy...If they’re happy...I’m given peace....” Over and over, like a deranged mantra and he continued to hash out his hollow life’s work.

Until the time came. When his weakness was at it’s peak. When his exhaustion was overwhelming. When his eyes blurred and he thought he’d pass out....That’s when Chim hit. Everything seemed to coalesce at that moment.  With all of his strength he broke free from his host’s mind, infecting him all at once until it was too much for his Host’s body to handle....

And then, he was free.... 

Chimney does use people as pawns to gain whatever he wants, be it leverage or revenge. He’ll uses us (the fans) for example, against Mark by turning us into corrupted husks or Darkiplites to cause mayhem to other humans and to undo what Mark has done in the world.

He also uses other humans as meat suits, so long as they provide enough negative energy for him to feed off of, as well as a weak mind (weak as in emotionally, not intellectually) because they’re easier to break/ crack and manipulate. He’ll use them to do simple errands like buy himself food or as a disguise if he doesn't want to walk around as himself. He usually wont stay in them for long, maybe an hour max, mostly because the stomach mouth will start to bug him for food and also; being in another being’s body is a tight, cramped squeeze. :P
