so, now that i have a tumblr that i use, i guess i'll post about my favorite homestuck concept: Dead Sessions.
Dead sessions are what happen when someone plays sburb by themselves, so starting and ending the server-client loop with themselves.
upon starting a dead session, you're only able to place a cruxtruder, which looks like this.
Out of these sessions come the Lord or Muse of a specific aspect. The aspect also dictates what game the session is based off of. (Breath can be Golf or Disk/Frisbee golf, Time can be Billiards, etc)
You can get really creative with these.
other things different from a normal sburb session is that you have planets you need to destroy in order to "win." (i'll explain why i put that in quotation marks later) and the fact that your home planet gets sucked into the medium, which later becomes your player planet after you talk to your denizen, which can be any denizen, due to the nature of dead sessions. caliborn got Yalbadaoth, which was dirk's denizen, who's a heart player.
on these aforementioned planets are your leprechaun team members. depending on the game your dead session is based on, that number can be between 15 to any number in the thousands. they also have weird and sometimes just useless powers that are all based on your aspect. your job is to recruit these leprechauns to be part of your crew, which then goes to encounter your denizen for the second time.
as well as leprechauns, theres also a massive boss monster, which gives you grist so you can place the rest of your machines in your phernalia registry. Caliborn didn't do this and just grinded without alchemy from the looks of it.
you need to destroy these planets in order (if your session is billiards, you need to skip the 8th one.) on your last planet is your quest bed, of which you die on and become the lord or muse of your aspect.
after all of this, you must encounter your denizen for the second time, this time, you will get presented with The Choice. which is either to fight the denizen to the death, or to be killed in honor of your timeline.
caliborn chose to kill his denizen, after, he obtained the Juju and broke his god clock, making him literally immortal.
all of this sounds hard, but as for the ending, nobody knows what happens.
my speculation is that you technecally cannot win a dead session, and are set to roam your player planet with your felt crew until existance collapses.
