Probably not appropriated but I really hate Montyoums fate just because he found a toxic person. His girlfriend forced him to take anti allergy meds because she had to adopt a cat, he had a shock and died because of it, then his girlfriend sold HIS beloved things for money. Not even his family knew he married this girl, she just caught him well and took advantage of him
He also planned to make a rematch with Tifa vs Hitomi and show how much Tifa improved
Sorry for the rant but this is like the second favorite artist who died in weird circumstances that could have been avoided and it still hurts.

I wouldn't trust anyone to do Dead Fantasy justice and finish it the way he envisioned because it's always salty aerith stans and cleriths who grab hold of these things and fuck them up, so I'm OK with it remaining unfinished and how he created it.

I was so sad when Monty Oum died and the series was left unfinished. He was a massive Tifa fan and I'm sure i heard something about how he wasn't going to bring Aerith in because she was canonically dead in the continuity he brought Cloud and Tifa out from, so he definitely understood the assignment π
