Kingdoms campaign, Beast Clan. Been trying to beat this campaign for a while without any sucess

Original team : Junia, Sarmenti, Dismas and Reynauld.

A little down the road, Dismas is Amorous with Reynauld, Hopeful with Junia and has a pretty positive relationship with Sarmenti. However, Junia and Reynauld keep having bad interactions and they're rather cold to each other

An unlucky encounter in a Lair to get more cash, a Gander they didn't kill quickly enough, Junia acting too late to heal : Dismas is killed

Reynauld and Junia quickly become Resentful with each other, Sarmenti is stressed out of his mind, the group barely manages to drag itself to the nearest inn where Tardif joins them

And this magnificent crit king manages to pull both of them after a couple of runs

(I choose to interpret the hook having a healing effet on Reynauld as Reynauld needing some kind of punishment after the loss of his lover and Tardif being the kind of firm dom he craves)

Sarmenti ends up being too stressed and falling behind for the run and I leave him at an inn

Couple of other heroes fill out the rooster but each time Junia is such a petty bitch to them it drags the whole group down.

Enter Bigby.

Now, i have a whole thing about Bigby in the Beast Clan campaign. In my mind his affliction was definitely caused by some creature of the Beast Clan and this quest is his redemption. My goal is to bring him into the final battle against Mest Hook. He's been kited up, he's upgraded, he crits, he's a good fighter.

Except...Junia and Tardif don't think so. Very quickly, Junia is Suspicious and Tardif isn't too keen on Bigby either.

And on top of that, barely a couple of runs before reaching the lair of Meat Hook...Reynauld gets killed. Massive blow for the team, and on top of that, Tardif and Bigby develop a Hateful relationship.

I'm too far gone to give up, so I put Audrey in the group and rush them all to Meat Hook.

Bigby is *amazing* in this fight. Perfect mix between debuffing Meat Hook with his chains and then unleashing the beast on it.

But Tardif hates him so much that he attacks him mid-battle. Once. Then twice.

The battle is going strong. Meat Hook is tough. But if we land a big blow, we'll have a chance. So Tardif, who's very low on life, gets ready...

...and gets attacked by Bigby...and it kills him.

(I let out quite the volley of swears at this moment)

Nothing left to lose : we go big, or we go home and by big I mean we go BEAST MODE BIGBY

And it was GLORIOUS. Crit upon crit, high damage, useful tokens, this guy got it all.

And lo and behold...Bigby wins. Dealing the fatal blow on Meat Hook like the king he is.
