Hi! How’s it going friends! I’m opening up a zine dedicated to the young animal comics if anyone’s interested in contributing :) its open to all artists and I think it would b a neat wee thing to do for team young animal!!

I have decided that the new I'm not starfire book would be so much better if it was about Mar'i and Mandy and their relationship as sisters. You can have conflict between the two of them because Mar'i wants to be a superhero, and Mandy does not, and Mar'i kinda judges her for not wanting to be a superhero, but they resolve it at the end of the story. Also they are both gay or bi, and Mar'i is dating Lian Harper, her fellow titan.

That would be interesting! 😮 There are so many stories to tell and explore... 🥺

It looks like it was a random book. I think the main problem is that the author doesn't know the character properly, so she took the solution to create a new character so she doesn't have to get too involved in Kory's lore...

I can't explain, they just took Kory, threw her there and asked a girl who doesn't know the character to create a story with her. Do we take this from Mandy's last name, which is Koriand'r?? Starfire's first name? 😟

I don't think they put much effort into at least studying the character. They just put the name of Starfire there to get attention to the story.

It could be that I'm wrong and the book is good, but it doesn't look promising :/

Okay. I know I'm Not Starfire created a whole buzz on the comic spaces for being bad and misrepresenting Kori but for some reason I just never connected it to the fact DC has a young adult graphic novel line until I was browsing Amazon trying to see if I find someone seeling a box of random comics (I know Amazon isn't the best place to look for it but I have no idea how to find it otherwise) and found Gotham High and now I'm rly curious about it.
